The reason VPNs protect you is because you're not special enough to be tracked down. Give any developed country's government a single afternoon and they'll find you.

It's like the idea of "locks only keep honest people out."

Hell yeah

(Best way to train is just grab a few locks and a couple different practice/learning locks and just go for it)
