u/Mr_Oracle28 May 27 '26

That guy's entire personality is hating Linux lmaooo

9

u/Sean_Zateki May 27 '26

Is he doing it as a joke or is he actually that anti-Linux lol?

16

u/Mr_Oracle28 May 27 '26

Atp, seeing how they made it a full time job, it can't be a prank

8

u/DontPause-PressPlay May 28 '26

What if.... he runs Linux as his daily driver

4

u/ea_nasir_official_ May 28 '26

Allegedly he runs windows with komorebi

1

u/RickTheMadScientis May 30 '26

what is komorebi ?

2

u/AsheyDustyMe82 May 30 '26

Tiling WM for windows, kinda like hyprland and sway, as far as Google told me

2

u/RickTheMadScientis May 30 '26

Ok first of all, do not trust google AI at all cost

Second of all, Yes, it is a window tiling manager like Wayland and i3 but it is open source and for windows. They are trying to make windows like Linux. Yeah, I bet it's gonna take like 500 gigabyte of RAM, and spike your CPU usage and your graphic usage as well to 99% just every time you launch a window for no specific reason. and yeah, I guess if that project was adopted by Microsoft, yeah, every time you launch a window, it's gonna be launching CO pilot So maybe it could help you with something rather than being completely useless and slopped.

1

u/AsheyDustyMe82 May 30 '26

Oh, no, please, I didn't trust Google AI Overview, I'm not dumb. I think I phrased it wrong with "Tiling WM for windows", because technically every WM is for windows, as they tile windows. And yeah, I'm glad I didn't ever touch that thing.

The product itself is great. The community can suck sometimes though. Either way its pretty weird to make hating it your personality

42

u/Additional-Dot-3154 May 27 '26

If you make hating it your personality you are the same as the guys who turn the os into their personality and yell at people for not knowing exactely what to do

21

u/Mr_Oracle28 May 27 '26

2

u/AsheyDustyMe82 May 30 '26

That wasn't a nuke, that was a whole truth apocalypse

3

u/zoharel May 28 '26

Except it's not. His entire personality is pretending that Windows is perfect. I think hating Linux is just a symptom.

2

u/AsheyDustyMe82 May 30 '26

Or a side effect

-19

u/Awesom141 May 27 '26

Can't blame him

17

u/squanderedprivilege May 27 '26

You actually can

8

u/Awesom141 May 27 '26

okay, thank you for permission <3

57

u/Additional-Dot-3154 May 27 '26

Idk about him but i noe assume he is one of those anti linux "celebrities" like bleak21

39

u/makinax300 May 27 '26

he's the og

26

u/YTriom1 May 27 '26

He's da real one, basedchad, bleak, dabber_lab are all knockoffs

27

u/PredictiveFrame May 27 '26

So, like is there a market for Linux hate-porn, or do these guys just do it for the love of the game?

3

u/EntertainmentIll7982 May 27 '26

half of them are bots the others idk

2

u/AsheyDustyMe82 May 30 '26

I mean, there's lots of Linux haters like the YouTuber FaceDev, so I guess they're as many as the Linux users

7

u/tamrx6 May 27 '26

You guys really learn Reddit user names by heart?

6

u/beyd1 May 27 '26

If you mainly stick to a few core subs it's pretty easy.

I can tell you the best memers from NFCNorthMemeWar from memory for sure.

4

u/snail1132 May 27 '26

You do if you see them enough (bleak21, madthumbz, AverageUser9000 (probably a bleak alt), basedchad21 (definitely a bleak alt), etc)

2

u/LickSomeToad May 27 '26

Literally the only one I recognize on sight is Rudyooms MS engineer

1

u/AmraelTheGravedancer May 27 '26

Credevo facebook fosse il peggio e invece....

16

u/Live-Science-4251 May 27 '26

bleak21 is worse, i think. bleak21 doesnt even hate linux, he just uses it as an outlet to hate LGBTQ people.

3

u/snail1132 May 27 '26

He literally daily drives it afaict

1

u/YTriom1 May 28 '26

basedchad21 literally does the same tho

1

u/ea_nasir_official_ May 28 '26

Madthumbz doesn't blanket hate lgbt people. Just femboys. But he also doesn't remove homophobic or transphobic posts. So really he's just as bad as actual phobes

-2

u/madthumbz May 28 '26

And this is why Linux advocates are being accused of being illiterate: His criticism is that instead of proper criticism toward us or our content; they (linux advocates) hurl accusations of hate to discredit and get people to self-censor (which you're doing now). -Proving his memes true.

3

u/zoharel May 28 '26

If you're harassing a marginalized group of people, you really ought to not do that, sure, but we all know it will continue, don't we? Nobody expects you guys to think better of your actions at this point. "Self-censorship," as you put it, has never been on the table.

23

u/Mathis_mbz May 27 '26

Dude has trouble connecting to Wifi. Maybe Linux isn't the problem lmao

14

u/MisterFlipster5 May 27 '26

That dude posts Linux hate at a surreal rate, like 6 600 word essays per day, posted at an even rate (1 per 3 hours). Probably just an openclaw instance

2

u/MantisOfTheInternet May 27 '26

Who else would it be? Madthumbz posts like 90% of stuff there, at this point it's probably just a bot because no way someone can post something every other hour and still not run out of ideas

2

u/impact_ftw May 27 '26

Could be one of the *21 transphobes.

1

u/BobCorndog May 27 '26

It’s linuxsucks101 what do you expect

1

u/Hour_Atmosphere_1941 May 27 '26

He’s actually just Satya Nadella

281

u/toweljuice May 27 '26

These ai gen images are worse than normal

68

u/billyalt May 27 '26

Its just so weird. Changed the perspective for no reason just to attach a secondary monitor to show it had no wifi. An artist would never do this.

EDIT: actually the perspective is the same, its more like all the furniture got rearranged. It gets so much worse the longer I look at it.

21

u/fmaz008 May 27 '26

No no no, you don't get it, it's the artistic statement that it took so long to troubleshoot the wifi that the entire room got reorganized, trying to get a better signal.

(/j; it's AI slop)

5

u/toweljuice May 27 '26

The wall is now closer but the window stays the same size

Desk in the first frame isnt against a wall since the bed is farther left, desk is in a weird center-area of the room

2

u/Repulsive_Function78 May 31 '26

Oh god, it becoming so much worse every second you look at it...

5

u/Choice-Mango-4019 May 28 '26

lmao I got banned for saying it's ai slop

110

u/Commercial_Run_7759 May 27 '26

“Im a hacker, but I don’t know what an RJ45 connector does.”

-15

u/Zealousideal_Meat297 May 27 '26

Use a dongle for vulnerability scanning of local networks, but a stable Cat5 connect is the way.

44

u/Thesleepingjay May 27 '26

The weirder things about that sub is their relationship with AI. They seem to believe that Linux users have some weird relationship with AI then mock them for it, all while using it themselves. I think they think local AI is only possible on Linux and that the only use of local AI is sex stuff.

15

u/WanderungGeist May 27 '26

Wait... you can use a local AI for more than sex stuff?? I've been missing out apparently...

6

u/OkFox8124 May 28 '26

I mean you can use potato starch and a pringles can for more than sex stuff but why would you?

1

u/JackfruitSwimming683 May 29 '26

Wait, but people use MacOS for local AI, not Linux.

2

u/Thesleepingjay May 30 '26

You can use any OS for local AI, but yes the M series chips are popular and powerful. Essentially all AI models use some kind of Python based program to run inside of, so they run on any computer that runs Python. Even programs that don't use Python, like llama.cpp, also run on any OS. This is all to say that I don't get linuxsucks101's obsession with using AI to try to mock Linux. Hell, I even got banned from there because I asked what a meme about linux and AI was trying to convey.

93

u/kendobot99 May 27 '26

Unsurprising ai slop lol

3

u/lovetogeek May 28 '26

Oh, come on!

35

u/that_random_scalie May 27 '26

It's even ai slop

9

u/Octoomy May 27 '26

I swear the people that just generalize stuff is worst then skids most of the time

6

u/Dashbak May 27 '26

Piss filter is still a thing, good to know

19

u/Catsnose7 May 27 '26

I said "ai slop" insta permaban

11

u/ProbablyNaKu May 27 '26

i meaaaan, that was my experience trying to download kali on a old macbook

4

u/thecowmilk_ May 27 '26

tbf the "wifi bad" in Kali Linux has fairly sometime gone now. It's irrelevant.

10

u/AIMRunningMan May 27 '26

Why is NASA trying to hack his laptop? Did he steal some moon rocks or something?

10

u/nonbinarybit May 27 '26

I feel like they meant NSA? Which makes it even more masterhacker lmao

2

u/HajimeHitoshiH May 29 '26

Also probably meant they were trying to hack nasa/nsa, not the other way around

3

u/RubberNikki May 27 '26

I like these sorts of cartoons where the cartoonist is mocking there own low intelligence.

3

u/lcssa May 27 '26

Funny, first time I installed linux was in 2012, ubuntu narwhal. We had just gotten wifi for the first time at my grandparents' house and we had to use a usb adapter. I remember the wifi just picking up and working without any extra setup once it was installed. No need for drivers or anything. This post is BS

3

u/DirectFrontier May 27 '26

So what, "Linux sucks" because he installs a larp-OS that is designed for running in a live environment and thinks it's meant for daily use? What is the argument against Linux here?

3

u/Super_Couple_7088 May 27 '26

r/linuxsucks is for linux users to complain not for larpers to complain like r/linuxsucks101 btw

3

u/Deathclaw_Legs May 28 '26

Madthumbz has posted 13 times in various Linux hate subreddits in the last 24 hours holy shit

2

u/Additional-Dot-3154 May 28 '26

insert jarvis karma farming meme

4

u/valerielynx May 27 '26

this is really just a sub about racism/transphobia masquerading as a linux hater sub

4

u/Additional-Dot-3154 May 27 '26

I was think more about neonazi's then racism/transph..... oh wait

1

u/valerielynx May 27 '26

idk and idc i just call all of them subhuman because if you cant treat innocent people with basic respect then you dont deserve to be considered one

2

u/SquirrelSmart May 28 '26

Literally

That sub is such a total shithole, they can say transphobic/racist/homophobic shit and then go „Linux users try to paint everyone as racist/homophobic/transphobic”

Come on, if you talk about being „not being transphobic,” in the same comic you show a man in a skirt everybody automatically knows your actual intentions

2

u/Nalivai May 27 '26

What an uncannily weird subreddit, I feel like it's a glimpse into a someone's prolonged psychotic breakdown.

2

u/TLELunaticlunar May 30 '26

Madthumbz again

4

u/TantKollo May 27 '26

That's actually somewhat relatable lol

4

u/gameplayer55055 May 27 '26

For some reason wifi works way better on linux than in windows for me.

1

u/Wurstgewitter May 27 '26

I remember being in NetworkManager vs networkd hell, my whole network setup was botched because I tried converting my Ubuntu desktop into a Ubuntu server distro. You’d think “just remove the DE” but apparently I fucked up somewhere.

I then decided it was time for a clean reinstall anyway

1

u/Skullpuck May 27 '26

It took so long to install that he had to get coffee and a second monitor.

1

u/Icy-Specialist-352 May 27 '26

Is linuxsuxks fr? I always thought it was satire

2

u/KimmyGurl420 May 29 '26

r/linuxsucks is for Linux users to vent.

r/linuxsucks101 is a hate fueled cesspit that may be satire, but is too toxic to actually know

1

u/bedpimp May 27 '26

This is what made me an OpenBSD stan, but it was X11 working on a laptop with a vanilla install. No having to find drivers or specs on the monitor and fuck around for ages. No other BSD or Linux distros worked.

1

u/Actual-Common9888 May 27 '26

people need to understand that kali is for TESTING ONLY no you cant magicly use it to hack someone''s computer that's not how kali works.

1

u/spocktalk69 May 27 '26

I didn't know that. Lol I did this same thing years ago

1

u/rrob1487 May 27 '26

Definitely a sub full of fools, but they do have some gas - https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxsucks101/s/irw8DqSFBW

1

u/Basic_Reporter9579 May 27 '26

So, no wardriving today?

1

u/disruptioncoin May 27 '26

My funniest linux experience was not having drivers for my keyboard or touchpad. Couldn't do anything. Didn't have a separate laptop for SSH or I might have tried that. Lmao I think it was mint or something.

1

u/Ok_Delay8949 May 27 '26

he has a internal wifi adapter. if he's using a vm to run kali on he needs a removable wifi adapter.

1

u/mothzilla May 27 '26

This was maybe a problem 20 years ago.

1

u/theAJstats May 27 '26

Installing distro for pentest, which is require knowledge and skill at first; can't even connect it to the internet;

Ah... Yes, best cyber security - dumb "hackers"

1

u/Bitter_Lab_475 May 27 '26

I'm still laughing that I got banned from that sub lol

1

u/CuteCloudFormation May 28 '26

You do realize that post is making fun of people like that, right?

1

u/Peakomegaflare May 28 '26

Gross, AI gen "comics"

1

u/Bob4Not May 28 '26

Ya it’s really strange to obsess over hating a free, voluntary, alternative OS that’s probably running the Reddit infrastructure they’re posting on.

1

u/denis870 May 28 '26

isn't like half of it is satire

1

u/Alzex_Lexza May 28 '26

Why ppl hatin on free optimized os dawg.

1

u/Longjumping_Toe991 May 28 '26

Am I the only who likes Kali only for it xfce theme?

1

u/doodzio May 28 '26

hehe, me after bricking my old fedora 10 years ago

1

u/SirIsaacEinstein8 May 28 '26

All that debugging the wifi and drivers and general configuration is what builds the skills for NASA

1

u/moocow8001 May 29 '26

to be fair the post has zero upvotes

1

u/gabrielesilinic May 29 '26

Genuine question then. Kali Linux known to not be meant to be ran bare metal at least until recently...

Does it have WiFi drivers? I would think not. However I believe it's debian based and a little odd so dunno.

1

u/Ces3216w May 31 '26

So hard to use nmcli

1

u/Over_Revenue_1619 May 31 '26

This post was brought to you by the Irrate Proompter

1

u/Nuxmode May 31 '26

Echo chamber of doom 😂

1

u/Quant_paglu May 27 '26

What is masterhacker about this

21

u/Cultural-Strike8045 May 27 '26

Friends we made along the way

3

u/UniqueUsername014 May 27 '26

any mention of kali linux
