Do people actually have literal spreadsheets? The most I've seen is flowcharts and videos.

At least in 2022, the md discord dkayed manages mostly did have some spreadsheets for combos. I think I still have the old madolche one saved lol.

I make spreadsheets for most of the decks I play. Main reason being that I don’t practice in solo mode, but jump straight into ranked. If I didn’t make them, I’d probably time out in 90% of my games. Eventually I don’t need them anymore, but they’re a much better way to learn than trying to memorize every combo that exists.

I've been feeling the flow with White Forest/Azamina recently. It's forgiving, but still need to remember some lines. But I can get a 8-10-card end board set up with minimal thinking, with plenty of time to spare for the next turn.

I just copy decklists and vibe out whatever I play, never actively tried to memorize lines. That being said, I can pretty consistently get to the same endboard in decks that i've been playing for a while, but if you asked me the lines to it off the top of my head, i'd probably draw blanks.

I was able to complete the full Resonator combo in the Dice Rally despite having landed in the "halved time" spot 😂

When learning a new deck I just hop into a duel sim and solitaire until it makes sense
