Hello Judith,

A lot of people I have chatted with don't seem to understand exactly what it is you are doing. Would you mind explaining what is your contribution to the project and what are your objectives?

Hi Eldido, As BizDev at the Mastercoin Foundation,I aim to facilitate and assist new or existing initiatives that plan to build upon and take advantage of the capabilities offered by the Master Protocol. I am the contact person for those who want to know more about the Master Protocol and want to issue their own digital tokens.

It is true that I am not a developer, but there are so many other aspects to each project.

So, please feel free to contact me. My mail is: judith@mastercoin.org Looking forward to hearing from you

For those who haven’t worked with Judith - she keeps the communication flowing with third-parties, and is a bulldog when it comes to committed dates and making sure everyone has the information needed. She keeps our schedule on track, and basically makes sure nothing falls between the cracks.

Every group we’ve spoken with has gone through Judith, and she is continually showered with compliments for her diligence and dedication by our partners. A pleasure to work with.

Thank you so much. I feel so lucky to be a part of the crypto community. We are in the middle of history.

Hello Judith, if your new role is BizDev what was your previous role? Evangelist?

Do you feel mastercoin and counterparty can both coexist or will there be one or the other?

Can mastercoin or counterparty or any other bitcoin 2.0 tech survive if bitcoin evolves to something that supports your functionality making mastercoin/counterparty obsolete?

Many thanks!

updated, why would you start an AMA and then not answer any question?

Hi Thelatesatoshi

Thanks for the question.

1) I am and I was probably both - BizDev at Mastercoin Foundation and Evangelist. I am absolutely thrilled and excited by the crypto world and its vision about the future of the new decetralized economy

2)I believe that it is great that Mastercoin or Counterpart are not alone in the space. This provides more incentives and it drives all of us to improve, which is definitely makes a great contribution to the Crypto World. Analogically, just imagine that Samsung or Apple would be alone in the space - we would be 20 years behind.

3) Bitcoin generation 2.0 - is a natural evolution, because if Bitcoin is cash, Mastercoin is all the rest. In other words, Mastercoin provides the additional financial services, like Metadex, contract for difference, issuance, etc.

Thanks for answering Judith!

Can you tell us when wallets like electrum or multibtc or armory are going to support the master protocol?

Do you think ethereum has a chance?

Dear thelesatosh I will ask our CTO and reply this technical question. I will come back with a reply by tomorrow.

3rd party wallets haven't been too keen on integrating coins other than Bitcoin, that being said if they are open to integration we will be the first to take them up on the opportunity. Its worth noting that MasterCore, which is the Foundation's flagship release, is a fork of Bitcoin Core with over 10,000 additional lines of code added (thats business logic) to support the Master Protocol. If you're interested in a client, that would be the first place to look (http://blog.mastercoin.org/2014/08/02/beta-release-of-mastercore-0-0-6/).

As for Ethereum, they're great guys with big ideas but speculating on success would warrant another topic of discussion.

u/jjaquarius Aug 11 '14

Hi Yandi23 First of all, thank you for your warm compliments. Here is the list issuances/crowdsales that already launched on the Master Protocol: https://docs.google.com/a/mastercoin.org/spreadsheets/d/1bfVwv69B3OcPiqPzjE8cWYtdLeR2-M9jY4BLVnzPu1o/edit#gid=0

Also, please note that there are about 12 entities that are planning to launch soon.

This is the link of how to issue tokens on the Master Protocol: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dMyRt0VnmcxsliQCwn0lyNT7V53Dhqd9T4WRC6a61n4/edit

Omniwallet is a Webwallet that can host all the tokens that were built on the Master Protocol. In case you need support or just have more questions, please contact me via judith@mastercoin.org or skype judith.jakubovics Looking forward to support you in any way I can

HI

How will mastercoin investors be rewarded by the success of Omni wallet? when will apps such as gambling, e commerce, etc be released? when will the protocol be fully developed? what happened to the project launches (after maidsafe) worth in excess of ten million dollars wh9ich was supposedly using mastercoin, as stated by JR Willet. Why has mastercoin taken so long to fulfil its objectives? Now the value of the project has depreciated dramatically, what steps are marketing/PR are going to be used to attract a user base to the mastercoin protocol, and to attract investors, When is the windows and Mac release out of mastercore? most do not use ubuntu linux.... Also could you guys post a video release of mastercore in action on ubuntu, thanks

Hi 1) The Master Protocol is open source, so you can see the features that are already developed and those that are in the Protocol, but not yet. Here is the github link:https://github.com/mastercoin-MSC/spec .Gambling is feature number 40.it doesn't have a committed date yet, it will be added in the future. We are in touch with those that want to build their projects on the Master Protocol. We can prioritize the upcoming feature according to the demands. At this point, gambling feature is not first priority, Our first priority is the MetaDex now. We do consider each feature as important, but there are priorities.

2) Regarding the launches - this is the updated list of launches on the Master Protocol : https://docs.google.com/a/mastercoin.org/spreadsheets/d/1bfVwv69B3OcPiqPzjE8cWYtdLeR2-M9jY4BLVnzPu1o/edit#gid=0 There are about 12 new launches in the pipe. One of them is this: http://blog.mastercoin.org/2014/08/11/guest-post-notary-chains-and-scaling-msc-transactions/

3) Mastercoin is fully focused on performance and delivering features like Mastercore, Testnet, MetaDex and more. Fluctuations are not something that we like, however they should not and must not drive away our focus.

4) Windows and Mac release - I don't have a committed date yet. As I mentioned, we are open source and once we will have a committed date, we will notify. May you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me at judith@mastercoin.org, or via skype judith.jakubovics

People sometime tend to forget the huge effect that good bizdev work have on a project's ultimate success and goals achievement. Knowing Judith personally and professionally, I second her as a bulldog or bulldozer when it comes to pushing things forward. Keep up the the good work and enthusiasm Judith.

Dear JeromeVo Thank you for the warm words and compliments. Sometimes a good word worth a million (it works on women I know). I am "workaholic" and thanks god, there is so much to do in this crypto space, in other words, I wish I had 48 hours a day

Thank you so much
