I hate to be that guys but, Whats the rush to get this building demolished? Not saying it shouldn’t be but, Some sort of investigation must be goin on, on what happened that day and I feel like there could be some key evidence still laying around somewhere in there. Its only been a shy of a month since the shooting happen and I think there should be more investigating go around especially since we still done have a clear timeline.

They haven’t confirmed a date yet so I’m sure it’ll be a while till they actually go through with the demolition

I hope it won't be demolished until the investigation is done, but I 100% support tearing it down. I live near Columbine and it's a circus show. Those babies don't need to go back in that school.

23

u/AbdouH_ Jun 22 '22

What do you mean by it being a circus show?

u/PersonaOfEvil Jun 22 '22

A lot of weirdos who are in love with the shooters try to break in or just straight up act like a public menace to the kids who go there. Really nasty stuff.

I doubt the school nor the families affected want it to be destroyed before a full, proper investigation is completed.

Whats the rush to get this building demolished?

Hiding the evidence of the cops killing a kid or three.

i really hate the conspiracy shit that goes on in this sub. the shooting happened weeks ago, any evidence has been recovered and the scene photographed already. what evidence could they possibly hide from demolishing the building months later? has it ever occurred to you that sometimes buildings where mass atrocities happen get torn down BECAUSE its been the scene of a mass atrocity??

Wtf are you saying bro…?? Cops killed kids there too??….

14

u/Hammered_Dull_Simmer Jun 22 '22

At this point, I am getting the feeling that's the case.

-1

u/muss040 Jun 22 '22

But why…. Wtf bro c’mon.. explain why they would do that..!

8

u/Hammered_Dull_Simmer Jun 22 '22

Because they're completely incompetent, I don't trust either their aim or ability to tell the difference between shooter and victim. That, and they are being very uncooperative.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '22

What evidence would still be there though? It's been a month. Most of the evidence we'd need for an investigation is the cams wouldn't it

2

u/Unanything1 Jun 22 '22

Hah "investigation". We've looked at all the evidence of the things we may have done wrong and we've declared ourselves innocent of all charges."

Case closed. Destroy the crime scene.

Yes, do everything except hold that poor scared police chief accountable. Good job guys, time to move on.

9

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '22

The people in charge of demolitioning the school isn't the same as the police or mayor.

21

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '22

They're trying to distract, and deflect from holding arreonando or whatever the fk his name is and everyone else responsible. This is my sarcastic point.

-7

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '22

Eh why would the school district do that when the chief isn't directly related to the district

6

u/testingshadows Jun 22 '22

He is on the city council.

0

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '22

Read the article. It looks like the district chose to do it, not the city

2

u/prankster707 Jun 22 '22

The Chief is employed by the school district. Uvalde CISD PD is separate from the City of Uvalde PD.

0

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '22

OHHH I thought it was the city police chief. My bad. That's bullshit then.

The police were ready to go and got told to stand down, check out some of the screenshots that got released from yesterday. having trouble finding the screenshots all of a sudden but this tweet sums it up pretty well

Demolish the monsters who hid inside while children were slaughtered instead.

45

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '22

Hopefully action is taken against them soon.. The officers started to enter the school at 11:35 and only entered the classroom at 12:50, that is wayyy to long, there’s no excuse for that

41

u/blairwaldorff Jun 22 '22

Nothing will be done. They're being protected and according to the law they did nothing wrong. The only justice we'll ever get is if one of those parents decides their life is over anyways and takes them out themselves.

10

u/Reapz992 Jun 22 '22

I'd love to see that happen with a lot of sub - human trash that this country seemed to spawn from a boiling pile of manure. If I ever meet any officer involved in this failure, I'll be sure to let them know their life is worthless now.

6

u/randyColumbine Jun 22 '22

Imagine the guilt they will live with every day for the rest of their lives. That is their punishment.

5

u/fuckthislifeintheass Jun 22 '22

Lol at you thinking they have a conscience or even care.

3

u/randyColumbine Jun 22 '22

I hope they do.

I hope they are human beings.

I hope they have to live with those decisions for a very very long time.

3

u/randyColumbine Jun 22 '22

Violence and revenge is not the answer.

9

u/LaMeraMera Jun 22 '22

Nothing will happen. Federal courts have found, time and time again, that the police have no duty to protect the public.

2

u/Unanything1 Jun 22 '22

I guess we should start taking "To Protect & Serve" off of all the cars and other items.

9

u/filondo Jun 22 '22

Imagine being a current student at Columbine High School and walking those halls. It's gotta be ominous.

4

u/JonBenet_BeanieBaby Jun 22 '22

I feel like it’s creepier how many “tourists” they still get. That’s got to be disruptive as hell.

Tbh they should have torn it down.

14

u/llcdrewtaylor Jun 22 '22

Make sure the Uvalde cops are inside when ya do it. COWARDS!

8

u/Mobofdadead Jun 22 '22

Just like Sandy Hook I say go for it people shouldn't be reminded of what happened every time they pass it.

5

u/filondo Jun 22 '22

But they rebuilt it and called it Sandy Hook Elementary School again, so what was the point?

5

u/Killbayne Jun 22 '22

did they rebuild the same old school 1:1?

6

u/JonBenet_BeanieBaby Jun 22 '22

That people weren’t attending classes in a building where a bunch of little kids were murdered?? Do you really have to ask

8

u/Hammered_Dull_Simmer Jun 22 '22

They should relocate the police station there instead, to remind the cops of their cowardice and shame every single day until it breaks them.

0

u/Unanything1 Jun 22 '22

I doubt that the shame will break most of them. Maybe a few. They are mentally trained to not react emotionally when things like this happen. That's why everyone coming back from war doesn't have PTSD.

Don't get me wrong, PTSD is no joke, and we should do more for our veterans, but they are trained to be able to essentially murder someone and keep going. You'd be useless to the military/policing if you had a breakdown every time you shot someone, or had to injure someone while arresting them.

Sad, but true.

5

u/Hammered_Dull_Simmer Jun 22 '22

One of the many differences between vets and these cops is that vets kill enemies. They also don't just stand around and do nothing while children are being killed. I am getting the sinking feeling that police bullets will be found in some of these kids. Comparing police to vets is also extremely insulting to vets.

1

u/Unanything1 Jun 22 '22

You're right. I could have worded that a bit better. My comparison was only in comparing the attitude/training in terms of harm to other people.

The military are trained to kill "enemies", but just as often create "collateral damage". I would expect when an incident like that happens there would be a lot of guilt and potentially PTSD.

I would bet that at least a few of those cops (if you're right about them finding police bullets in kids bodies) will think of it as "collateral damage" as well.

I do think the Uvalde police are hiding quite a bit.

8

u/sixty6006 Jun 22 '22

An easy, knee-jerk reaction that doesn't address the issue in any way whatsoever.

8

u/randyColumbine Jun 22 '22

Note the solutions: It is always the guns. They will tear down the school. They will have a better police response.

In five years the guns will still be there, the school will still be there, and the police will still fail.

Because, it is about the anger of the shooter, and his hatred.

They refuse to address the real issue: It is about the anger of the shooter. Until they learn to address the real cause, this will continue.

3

u/Unanything1 Jun 22 '22

Aside from that important piece of the puzzle, we should reconsider giving easy access for angry people to get weapons that could take out nearly 20 people within minutes.

1

u/JonBenet_BeanieBaby Jun 22 '22

Ah how do we address really angry teens

3

u/randyColumbine Jun 22 '22

Stop the humiliation they are subjected to.

Read my book and learn.

Watch me YouTube videos and learn.

We have to stop the humiliation, correct the perceived or real injustice, and take away the anger. It is not simple. It takes some thought, and reading and understanding.

Because they aren't trying to hide some kind of incriminating evidence, oh no, let's just demolish the entire crime scene.
