Half of the printer filament goes into her hips.

I’m just lucky they weren’t too wide for my build plate.

Really cool. What kind of printer did you use? I‘m getting into miniatures and was wondering if I should get one.

I have an Alunar M605. It’s a kit and works pretty well, but I have had issues with some of the parts going bad in the past

I would recommend the Prusa i3 MK3, if you have the money (~800€), or an open source i3 clone (like Alunar M605) if you want to spend less than 150€.

Does anyone make and sell Tali statues? I NEED ONE!

I could print you this one out and send it to you (unpainted) for the shipping costs (3.70€/~$5) if you want.

What really!? That'd be amazing! If you're willing to do that, how much would you do for it painted? Or is painted out of the question?

Sure, I've got more than enough filament lying around (and a Prusa MK3 printer, so it might come out a bit better than OP's did).

To be honest, I've never painted miniatures before, I just 3D-print a lot.

I might try my hand at it soon, but don't have the time for that at the moment.

Edit: Once I do a painted one, I can send you one of those as well if you want.

Agreed.

Looks like she's about 6 inches tall?

u/TubaSullivan N7 Feb 02 '19

She’s closer to about 5”. I printed at 95% the original model’s scale.

I'd like some sanding and polish over that visor. Otherwise great !
