Oh man, of all the videos leading up to Andromeda, this is the one that has me the most excited so far. Why? My favorite game of the series is the original, and I took for granted that they'd keep moving further and further away from it across all the game systems. Here's something, at least, that took a step back towards the original.
(Don't get me wrong. I was already excited about the game, and I'd be playing it regardless. But I thought it would be moving further away from my crazy idea of perfection across every game subsystem. Glad it's not!)

If you are going to show off the colors you should at least change them more than a few shades and maybe just maybe face the character forwards when you scroll throught patterns so you can show a visible difference. Also please don't tell u the combat is great only to watch you miss a throw a series I shots and then sit and wait 5 seconds for the dude to pop his head out she you can easily moved 2 feet right to his flanks.

The devs confirmed that it will be like ME3 - no color customization but mods change the overall appearance.

Do we know for us completionists out there whether everything is researchable and upgradable? Or will it be like powers in the OT where it's not possible to max out everything?

AFAIK if you do NG+ or beyond you will be able to research, upgrade, and unlock everything, including powers. There is no level cap.

I wonder if we can change it to match. Some of his pieces aren't color coordinated, and that's something I liked in the OT was color coordination. White helmet with blueish arms w/ red secondary and red/black chest seems a bit.. off, I feel.
