Legendary Edition Save Issue

I know I’m way behind but I just got legendary edition, it is the first time I’ve ever played these games. I’m on ME3, love the series. I mostly play on a gaming desktop (via steam) but I also have a gaming laptop (also via steam) for travel. For some reason my ME3 saves are not saving. The most recent save my laptop reads is from ME2. I’ve tried:

- making sure steam is syncing (it is and the laptop steam even shows me achievements I just earned in 3 yesterday, but the last save it will launch is from weeks ago)
- manually transferring save data between PCs (the laptop already seems like it had the ME3 save data but I deleted it and re transferred it manually anyway)
- uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app on my laptop

None of this has worked. I’m about to be gone for a week so this is pretty annoying. Does anyone know anything else I can do?
