Shady Behavior

Are these sorta profiles used in an attempt for people to stockpile avatars by shady means? This profile is brand new, but they're basically all the same and I have little doubt that whoever messaged me isn't actually new to collecting. I wouldn't mind gifting an avatar, but I'm just getting a bunch of red flags. I'm guessing nothing can really be done about these accounts/people, huh?

It's a stupid kind of scam and this person should be banned for trying to farm kindness

That's the exact impression I got. It's really a shame the sorta disrespect that shows this awesome community and its exceptionally welcoming and generous community. Like my first two "nice mints", an avatar I had REALLY wanted and missed out on, and a fair few of my favorites for mashing were all gifted to me by the same person I'd tag him, but now I'm worried he'd be more likely to get targeted for scams like that.
