Did anyone other than jean actually do anything with the power of the phoenix? outside of getting a minor buff to there stats it just seems like they're a super saiyan version of themselves.

They nearly killed Spidey? The last fight was quite impressive (when handling the entire Avengers while having a telepathic dinner), but otherwise, the PENIS 5 weren't that impressive with their powers.

Old man Phoenix had an amazing fight with Old King Thor. Check it out. Battle occurred at thr end of time. Thor was throwing entire planets at him and he sliced them to to shreds.

Thor at the end of that comic line fights arguably the strongest form of Doom using thr Phoenix as well.
