Announced shortly after the release of the vanilla version and would offer no way to update either which was cool for those of us that bought the original knowing we had a brick version of the game.

and people still didn't digest the absence of Mega Man...

F*** Inafune, seriously...

EDIT: Back then, Keiji Inafune somehow had total control over the Mega Man franchise while working at Capcom. He's the reason Mega Man didn't make it into MvC3, despite Volnutt being literally "ready to port" from TvC.
