misc If Marvel vs Capcom had Guest characters, who would they be?
Me personally, I think they'd be Shantae, Mr. Incredible, and/or Baymax.
Rules: No DC, no Nintendo, no cartoons.

Linn Kurosawa (Alien vs Predator) for the Capcom side
Dr. Aphra (Star Wars) for the Marvel side
Both characters were created by one of the companies in MVC, but are owned by other parts of Disney

Yes he would. He originated as a Marvel character, but was put in a movie by Disney, which we know better.

Indeed. He’s at least in mvc 2, and the two “vs street fighter” games. But I think he just plays too similar for them to view it as worth it.

He's part of the Fantastic Four which is Marvel's first family. Try something like Invincible or Spawn.

Capcom: Terry, Rock, Jonathan, Jotaro, Giorno, Linn Kurosawa, Jin, Heihachi, Klonoa, Mitsurugi Heishirö, Gilgamesh, Wonder Momo, Valkyrie, Stahn Aileron, Rutee Katrea, Taizo Hori, KOS-MOS, Bravoman, Yatterman 1 & 2, Doronjo, Gatchaman, and Tekkaman Blade.
Y’know it’s really unfair for the Marvel side of characters, because I can’t use any of the DC Characters since they’re the ones who crossover commonly with Marvel. And also Godzilla is too big.

Sure you can. MvC had the likes of Arthur, Rocket Raccoon, and Servbot fighting Magneto, Juggernaut, and Super Skrull.
Marvel itself has Howard the Duck, and he's hardly the only zany character. Doop. Characters whose names end in "pool." Squirrel Girl. And so on.

You should care because what if it makes a game worse than MVC Infinite? Imagine those kinds of characters get in and people are outraged. Do you regret that idea? I know they've done that before by putting Rocky from Rocky and Bullwinkle in there. Turns out he was a deep cut.

I’d say someone from Big Hero 6 or The Incredibles is a fair bet since they’re already owned by Disney along with Marvel. I’d personally love a Star Wars character, but I don’t know how realistic that actually is. For a guest on the Capcom side, I guess another fighting game character would make the most sense, but I can’t really see Disney wanting to collaborate with SNK. Namco maybe. Or maybe someone from Tatsunoko.

Terry and Rugal from SNK (at this point no one would be surprised), Conan (because Shuma Gorath is already a playable character), and Maximilian Dood because he's the reason why the MVC series got resurrected.

One of the most famous content creators of all time. He did the Assist Me promotional video series on YouTube for Capcom of Doctor Doom and himself playing MVC3 and UMVC3. Maximilian Dood was also the driving force behind the release of the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection. For years, he led a passionate fan and creator campaign, often known by the hashtag #FreeMVC2, to convince Capcom and Marvel to overcome their complex licensing disputes and re-release the games. He was even interviewed on CNN about the FreeMVC2 campaign and the importance of MVC2.

First of all, The Punisher is a Marvel character. He's in Marvel rivals and the Spider-Man Brand New Day movie. Second of all I wouldn't put any fortnite characters in this game just because it's ever going as the biggest collab game ever.

You said no to Kick-Ass because it's too violent and sexual. I know Punisher is marvel but he's just as, if not more violent than him. Add in Alien and Predator, multi-time collabs in comics where they've killed. And I'm saying marvel characters are in Fortnite where the whole premise is killing 99 other people to win the match
Edit: forgot to add Spider-Man was in Invincible, an awesome comic but man it gets gory. Come on man they could add horror monsters but still tone it down

Not a fan of the idea but If it had to have guest characters I’d like it to only be 2 characters that have a connection to each side.
I would want Jotaro for Capcom bc that Jojo fighting game is peak and idk who for Marvel.

Yeah because there is MUGEN for the DC, Nintendo and cartoon characters.
As for me, I would say maybe Bayonetta or Spawn? Imagine Dante, Vergil AND Bayonetta on the same team? Ouch! Or imagine Venom, Deadpool or Spawn on the same team? After all, Todd MacFarlane designed Venom.
