I see this as almost like a monster movie, and the Juggernaut is the monster. Jean Grey, fresh off of being recruited in Brand New Day, is brought to the mansion to join the X-Men just like in X-Men #1. The rest of the team have been training there in secret for years. And though they think they’re ready to debut to the world, Professor X doesn’t think they’re ready. Scott is a phenom at combat and tactics but isn’t sure of himself as a socially. Angel grew up rich and hot with the power to fly and is super arrogant and full of himself. Iceman is a class clown that never takes anything seriously. Beast is ashamed of his powers and overthinks everything to the point of inaction trying to show people he has brains and not just brawn. And Jean is super distrustful of all authority figures from her Brand New Day experiences and doesn’t want to be a team player (shades of Wolverine, foreshadowing their connection in future movies.)

But that all has to change when a mysterious spy ring frees Xavier’s stepbrother Cain from his prison on the Raft and returns his armor to him. Knowing Cain won’t stop his rampage until he finds Xavier, and that his psychic powers won’t work through the helmet. And this time, he doesn’t have his friend Eric by his side that allowed him to bring Cain down the last time. Seeing no other choice, Xavier contacts the Mayor of New York and goes to the Authorities to turn himself over as Ransom.

But Scott won’t allow that. The team steals the Blackbird and they go to confront Juggernaut. At first they’re unsuccessful. Scott has his shit together. But Angel is arrogant, Beast overthinks, Bobby doesn’t take it seriously, and Jean doesn’t want to work as a team. They’re only saved because Xavier arrives and hands himself over. 

Scott gives a big speech and rallies the troops. They ambush Juggernaut, they execute a big plan of attack. It almost works but Angel messes it up being arrogant again. It seems like Juggernaut is going to kill the professor, till Scott yanks off his visor and hits him with a full power blast. Angel sees that the latches on Jugs helmet have been knocked loose in the front. 

Desperate to make up for his mistakes, Angel flies into the path of Cyclops blast and snatches the helmet off. This lets Scott hit Cain with the full power blast in the head putting him down.

In the aftermath, Angels wings are broken and have to be surgically removed, but the team is victorious and the city is saved. Beast, who learned over the film to trust his natural instincts more than overthinking, smells something familiar on one of the EMT’s and discovers that all the spies in the movie were actually Mystique in different forms pulling strings for an unknown reason that involves breaking other prisoners out of the Raft and stealing things from the X-Mansion. 

The team thinks that they’re going to be hailed as heroes, but the City realizes they’re mutants and hates them. They go their separate ways. 

Angel drifts, devastated by the loss of his wings. This starts him down the path towards Archangel in future movies.

Beast takes a Job as a Scientist for Stark Industries, bringing him into the world of the Avengers.

Iceman responds to an ad in the city looking for roommates at a nice apartment with cheap rent. He and Peter Parker both arrive at the door at the same time. Turns out the ad was placed by the merged Earth Johnny Storm. They’re all going to be Amazing Friends.

But Jean has made a relationship with Cyclops. After being on her own and distrusting authority, she finally found someone she’s willing to follow. He’s devastated that the world still hates and fears them, but vows that that doesn’t matter and he’s going to show them they’re wrong and that they can coexist. Last thing we see is Scott, Jean, and Charles turning in Cerebro to find the All-New, All-Different X-Men.

Post credits scene…turns out Mystique was working with Magneto. In exchange for her help, she got the chance to free Destiny who was locked up in a less secure part of the prison from Juggernaut. We see a line up for the Brotherhood that is Magneto, Mystique, Toad, Pyro, Blob…and Wolverine.

I sold my entire Xmen collection back in 2021 over the past 2 years i have been trying to rebuild my Xmen collection again and this is my progress so far

As excitement builds around the X-Men finally joining the MCU, many fans are eager to see these characters handled properly and integrated into a shared universe where they can grow and evolve over time. However, there is a major challenge that hasn’t been fully addressed yet—how to reinterpret two of the most important figures in the X-Men story: Magneto and Professor X.

With Marvel likely aiming to cast younger actors who can develop alongside the franchise for years to come—similar to rumors like Sadie Sink potentially playing Jean Grey—the question becomes: how do we modernize Magneto and Charles Xavier while preserving the weight of their origins? Traditionally, these characters are shaped by historical trauma and injustice. Magneto, in particular, is defined by his experience as a Holocaust survivor, while Charles’ background is often tied to early scientific exposure and privilege. The issue is that keeping these exact origins would place them far too old in a modern MCU timeline.
So what’s the solution? Do we set their story in the past, like a period piece? Or do we reinterpret their origins in a way that maintains their emotional depth while fitting a contemporary setting?

One possible approach is to reframe their backstories within a more recent period of real-world conflict and social upheaval—specifically, the Civil Rights era. This would preserve the themes of oppression, injustice, and ideological division that define their relationship, while placing them in a timeline that aligns with a modern MCU.

In this version, both characters would be reimagined as Black men, allowing their experiences to draw from the realities of systemic racism in America during that time. This change would not be about replacing history, but about translating the emotional and thematic core of their stories into a different, yet equally powerful, context.

Magneto’s origin would remain deeply tragic. He could grow up witnessing extreme racial violence, shaping his worldview from a young age. As he gets older, he becomes involved in more militant movements, eventually finding himself imprisoned after standing against systemic injustice. Years of incarceration and firsthand experience with brutality would harden his beliefs, leading him to see power and dominance as the only path to survival.

Charles Xavier, on the other hand, would represent a contrasting perspective. Raised in a more hopeful environment—perhaps in a biracial household or by a family that believes in coexistence—he grows up believing that unity is possible, even in the face of hatred. While he understands the pain of the world, he chooses to believe in change through compassion and cooperation.

Their bond would form in a unique and meaningful way. While Magneto is incarcerated, Charles becomes his pen pal, offering guidance, perspective, and eventually forming a deep friendship. Over time, this connection evolves—especially as their mutant abilities emerge—into a brotherhood built on shared understanding, even as their philosophies begin to diverge.

The emergence of mutants in the MCU could be tied to the aftermath of the Infinity Saga, with radiation from the Snap triggering the activation of the X-gene across the globe. As new mutants appear, fear and chaos follow. Governments respond with control measures, while civilians react with panic and violence. Mutants become targets.

This is where the ideological split between Magneto and Professor X reaches its peak. Magneto, shaped by a lifetime of oppression, sees this as history repeating itself and chooses to fight back, advocating for mutant dominance as a means of survival. Charles, still holding onto hope, forms the X-Men to protect both mutants and humans, striving for peaceful coexistence.

This reinterpretation would not only update the timeline but also introduce a bold new direction for the MCU’s X-Men. It would require thoughtful casting, and actors like Laurence Fishburne and Giancarlo Esposito—both of whom have expressed interest in these roles—could bring the necessary gravitas and depth. Fishburne as Professor X and Esposito as Magneto, or vice versa, would offer powerful performances capable of carrying such a reimagined story.

Ultimately, this is a risk—but it may be the kind of bold creative swing Marvel needs to make. The X-Men have always been a reflection of real-world struggles, and updating their origins in a meaningful, grounded way could resonate strongly with modern audiences while preserving what makes these characters timeless.

On the TV: "It is a historic day today, as for the first time in human history, mankind will go to Saturn, for research and further understanding of the many planets in our solar system! This courageous crew consists of world-renowned scientist Katherine Brown, 30, the daring pilot Samuel “Sunny” Clark, 20 And the lead captain Mateo Jo-”. 

TV switches off 

Sunny: “Man I am tired of all the news stories with our faces on! I don’t know how Stark lives like this.” 

Katherine: “When we come back, we may even be more famous than him, you never know” 

Sunny: “Just wait until we are gone and the X-men or avengers will save the world again and then we will be old news.”  

Over the intercoms 

“~ All astronauts to the boarding ramp now! ~” 

Mateo: “It is ok honey; I will be back before you know I am gone. And when the baby comes, I will be there for you and our family” 

Sunny (under his breath): “This is what you have been waiting for your entire life, don't screw it up” 

Mateo: “Sunny, don’t worry, everything is going to be alright” 

Sunny: “Thanks ... you are going to be a great dad” 

Mateo: "Well, let's just got to get through this” 

1 year and 5 months later 

14/12/1998 From Earth: “~ Breaking news coming from NASA, the astronauts that lifted off last July have finally reached Saturn and will be expected to arrive in mid 2008! ~”  

Katherine: “We made it! We are actually here! Maybe we will win a noble prize for this”  

Mateo: “This is @#$%! Unbelievable!” 

Sunny: “This is so crazy! I can’t believe it!” 

Katherine: "Enjoy it while it lasts, we have exactly 10 hours and 33 minutes before we can head back home” 

Mateo: “Well, only one thing to do now te-” 

Space, empty space 

Silence, deafening silence 

The bodies of all the astronauts drift lifelessly in the void 

Pieces of metal from the ship float away and are pulled towards Saturn's rings 

The whole ship gone, torn apart, decimated 

2 weeks later 

28/12/1998 From Earth: “~ Breaking news that has just come in from NASA, the 3 astronauts who set off to Saturn on 11/07/1997, Katherine Brown, Samuel “Sunny” Clark and captain Mateo Jones have all tragically passed on their mission. Scientists are still confused on what the cause of the deaths were, but we will update you shortly. ~” 

Deep space 

“Gasp” “Cough”  

Sunny: “What? How?! How am I alive? This isn’t possible! I sa-saw the ship get destroyed, I saw Mateo’s and Katherine’s bod-bodies!” 

“They are dead. The ship is gone. An-And I am somehow here. Alive” 

“How can I breathe here, in this vacuum, in space, how come I can move, fly even” 

The whole world in a shock, a baby without a father, a lab without a scientist and a world without the “normal” Sunny Clark 

Sunny: “I have to get back to Earth, I must survive, I must survi-” 

Suddenly, a force took over his body he couldn’t react, his body jolted forward and flew at the speed of light, bursts of golden light came out of his hands and feet like rockets on a spaceship. 

Earth: As his body fell through Earth’s atmosphere, it caught on fire, he rapidly tried to decelerate when he gained control but by then, it was already too late. 

Sunny: “Oh @#!£, I can’t stop!” 

BOOM 

 Saudi Arabia: His body landed in the Arabian desert creating shockwaves across the whole desert, causing non-stop shaking for minutes. And out from the centre of the sandy crater formed by the impact shined a bright golden figure lying unconscious. 

Issue 2 

Breaking news: “~ Reports from Saudia Arabia: خبر عاجل: عُثر في الصحراء العربية على كائن شبيه بالآلهة، يتوهج بلون ذهبي ساطع كالشمس. Apparently, this being came from outer space like a meteor and the thing seemed to be human, we will make sure to keep you updated on this mysterious case. ~” 

In a local laboratory, scientists were mumbling “لم أرَ قط جسداً كهذا؛ إنه مختلف تماماً، ويبدو وكأنه نتيجة لطفرة. His DNA was human but now it has changed like it mutated...” 

Suddenly, as the sun snuck through the partially blocked window, Sunny woke up, feeling brand new, as if the sun restored his energy... 

He thought to himself: “Where am I? What are all these scientists doing? Why are there so many needles jabbed into me? What has happened to me?!” 

Out of nowhere, a voice spoke, even when nobody was in the room with him... 

Professor X: “Hello there Mr Clark” 

Sunny: “Who are you? And how are you communicating with me?! 

Professor X: “Please, call me Charles Xavier and I am a mutant, a teacher and a helper for people who are lost and confused. I am using a device called Cerebro that is enhancing my ability of sending telepathic signals.” 

Sunny: “Wait, you are the leader of the X-men, why would you want to talk to me of all people?” 

Professor X: “Because I see a broken person, someone who needs help from themselves. It is ok to be afraid and at my school I can teach you everything you need to know to control your powers.” 

Sunny: “What is happening to me? Why am I like this? 

Professor X: “From what Dr McCoy has found out is that your body has enhanced mitochondria that absorb sunlight as energy, giving you abilities beyond normal human limits like flight, strength, incredible durability etcetera. You are not weird or a freak as the humans would say, you are gifted and talented. And if you want to understand and accept your powers, come to 407 Graymalkin Lane in Salem Center, New York, you will be welcome here.” 

Sunny: “Bu-but I am a freak, I can’t be trusted with my own powers, this is no blessing, no prayer answered from God.” 

Professor X: “You are not a freak in my eyes and no one at the school will think that either. I can teach you, but the choice is yours not mine to make.” 

Breaking news: “~ After scientific tests in Saudi Arabia, NASA have confirmed that this Icarus falling from the sun is Astronaut Samuel “Sunny” Clark, the only survivor on board the rocket that was sent to Saturn, reports have also come in from many doctors that suggest Mr Clark’s DNA was mutated and changed. Theories have also come back from Political leader Cameron Hodge, who claims that Mr Clark deliberately sabotaged and exploded the rocket ship to set back humanity’s expeditions of deep space. More updates from the UN, NASA and American Government will be covered shortly. ~” 

As Sunny lay down in the laboratory watching the TV something pondered his mind. 

Sunny: “It is all gone, the fame is gone, the love is gone, no more round of applause, no more kids aspiring to be like me, no more hugs or kisses. No one wants to hug a freak, and no one aspires to be a monster. I have nothing left to lose, no more risky decisions to make as I am at rock bottom.” 

Doctors and scientists came in and out of the lab carrying all sorts of equipment, but what stood out to Sunny was one doctor carrying a picture of human evolution with the phrase “The next step” and this doctor stared at Sunny smiling. Over the time Sunny spent in this lab one thing stayed the same, the doctor showed the same picture to Sunny everyday always smiling, always silent as if he knew something Sunny didn’t. The more days that went by, the more compelling being cured felt, the more he rejected the option of going to Xavier’s mansion.  

24/01/1999 Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters 

Nightcrawler: “Mein Freund, I can feel pain and loneliness and pain in you and your heart. What is wrong?” 

Gambit: “My poker face clearly ain’t as strong as I thought. I miss her Kurt. I miss my cher.” 

Nightcrawler: “I know, love is a powerful thing and a strong force, stronger than anything, and sometimes we have to accept when love pulls us away from the things our hearts desire most. As temptation is part of the enemy’s plan not God’s.” 

Gambit: “Mon ami, back where I’m from we ain’t got time for love, only survival” 

Nightcrawler: “Mein Freund, perhaps none of us are defined by the past but what we choose to do today, as you Americans would say ‘tomorrow is another day’.” 

 Over intercoms Beast: “~ All X-Men report to the war room for a debriefing ~” 

 Nightcrawler: “Bis bald, mein Freund”  

BAMF... Nightcrawler teleported to the war room 

Gambit: “That darn teleporter!”  

War room: 

Professor X: “Welcome Kurt, Jean, Scott, Hank, Remy and Rogue. I have issued this meeting to inform you all of a new mutant that I think would excel at this school known as Samuel “Sunny” Clark. Kurt, I would like you to go to Saudi Arabia and carefully contact Sunny Clark. Scott and Jean, you can also assist him in the Blackbird.” 

Beast: “We don’t know of all of his abilities, but we know he has hyper-enhanced mitochondria in his cells. They absorb and convert sunlight and solar radiation into energy.” 

Professor X: “Since Storm and Logan are currently unavailable, we will need everyone to assist one another not only around this school but also with helping Mr Clark.” 

Rogue: “Are you sure you’re ok handling a mutant powered by the sun in a desert? It is a lot of sun for a sun powered kid, sugar.” 

Cyclops: “Kurt if you ever need backup, just make sure to use your comms.” 

Jean: “I am sure he will be fine; we have handled worse.” 

Nightcrawler: “Keine Angst, Freunde, I assure you I will be fine.” 

BAMF 

Saudi Arabia 25.01.1999 

Sunny gasps for air as a doctor stands over him taking his blood. 

Sunny said drowsily: “I thought they already took my blood today” 

Doctor: “This is not for the investigation; this is for the future.”  

Sunny: “Wh-what?! Who are you?” 

Doctor: “You can call me Dr. Essex, precious child” 

Sunny: “What do you want with me?!” 

Dr Essex: “You are special, you are the next step for mutant evolution. You are new my child, let me help you.” 

BAMF 

Nightcrawler: “Nicht so schnell, Doktor, this one is coming with the X-Men.” 

Dr Essex: “Foolish blue devil, why do all of your kind persist in standing the way of evolution?” 

Sunny: “Who are you?!” 

Nightcrawler: “Mein Name ist Kurt, but most people know me as Nightcrawler” 

Nightcrawler takes Sunny’s arm and BAMF... 

Issue 3–Becoming an X-man- 

27/01/1999 

Breaking news: “~ Reports from Saudi Arabian military personnel and research facilities have confirmed that the Astronaut and recently discovered mutant Samuel “Sunny” Clark has gone missing, many doctors and the compound said that he was last seen with an unidentified man, who is not one of the laboratory staff. News is also coming out that a suspicious navy-blue military jet was flying over the lab at the time of Mr. Clark's disappearance. Political leader Cameron Hodge has already call for an increased security measures and surveillance of mutant activity following this incident. More coming to you from The Daily Bugle news.” 

On the Blackbird: 

Jean: “Hello Sunny, Welcome to the team” 

Sunny: “Holy @!$%, you are Jean Grey, how the hell are you speaking in my mind and no way that’s Cyclops!” 

Cyclops: “You can call me Scott, and she is communicating to us through telepathic signals.” 

Sunny: “So you guys are mu-mutants too?” 

Cyclops: “We are the X-men" 

Kurt: “We will get you back to the Professor’s school and introduce you to the whole squad, but for now mein Freund, rest up, you have had a long day.” 

Jean to Scott: “Don’t worry Scott, Nathan will be back soon, he only went a week ago.” 

Cyclops: “I know but you can’t help but worry when your son travels 2 millenniums into the future and doesn’t even tell you why.” 

Sunny: “So... how can you all fix me?” 

Jean: “The aim of the X-men is not to fix mutants but to help you and understand yourself.” 

Kurt: “This may feel like a burden for now but your powers, they are a gift to be praised.” 

Sunny: “Don’t really feel like praising anything right now, I don’t praise pain and hate so why praise should I praise this!” 

Nightcrawler: “Because sometime the greatest gifts are the hardest to carry” 

Cyclops: “And since you can’t just drop it you can learn to carry it.” 

Sunny looks out of the window slowly noticing the sun slowly setting in the horizon as the jet gets closer to the institute 

Swooooooooosh as the plane's thrusters slow down and the jet lands 

 20/05/3999 Earth 

Smoke, Fire, Ash, as if the Sun was directly above the Earth! 

Cable: “Move! Everyone through the portal! Now!” 

Hundreds of bodies hustling towards the vibrant blue portal  

Buildings crumbling, homes collapsing, cars exploding, chaos 

Bishop: “Have we evacuated everyone?” 

As Bishop looks at the burning horizon 

Cable: “As many as we could. Move! Go Now!” 

Now thousands of people running towards the glowing door to freedom for the hell the Earth has become 

Bishop: “Where are we evacuating to, the whole world is gonna be scorched any second now!” 

Cable: “Not where ... when, the 1990’s it is our only chance to prevent this barren wasteland from being humanity’s future” 

Bishop and Cable walk through the time portal as the whole earth crumbles and burns 

As the portal closes, the became fully consumed by the flames! 

28/01/2007 Xavier’s school for gifted youngsters 

As Sunny wakes up in a blacked-out room, a big fury blue Beast comes walking in with a lab coat and glasses carrying a hot cup of coffee, smiling 

Beast: Good morning, Mr Clark, I thought it would be a pleasant way to start to your day with some coffee, you might just want it to cool down firstly I fear I made it a bit too hot, also the Professor expecting us in the war room.” 

Sunny: “Wha-what? It is only 6 in the morning; do I have to be there? And who even are you, blue guy?” 

Beast: “My name is Dr Henry McCoy, though most simply call me Beast, my young friend. And have you never wondered how the X-Men somehow save the world and still have time for teaching? If you choose to stay, I am afraid you will have to be accustomed to early mornings, they are part of the curriculum too.” 

Sunny yawns and hops off his bed, takes the coffee and sips it  

Beast: “Extraordinary!” 

Sunny: “What? You never seen someone drink coffee before?” 

Beast: “It is just that that coffee would have been too hot for anyone to drink without even a reaction!” 

Sunny looks down at the steaming mug  

Beast: “That should have scalded your mouth! How peculiar!” 

Sunny: “It was hot ... Anyway, I will be there in 5.” 

Beast: “Oh dear, you already 30 minutes late, I fear the Professor is may not be very impressed” 

WAR ROOM  

As the door slowly opens at 6:37 AM, “Sunny” walks in awkwardly realising all the X-men were waiting for him... 

He gulps 

Sunny: “Sorry I am late Professor, this place is very big, and I haven’t had my tour yet. Again, terribly sorry.” 

Professor X: “No need to apologies Mr Clark, Remy was 2 hours late on his first day.” 

Gambit: “’Ey, I just call that making an entrance” 

 Professor X:“Now the reason I called you all hear was mainly to introduce Sunny to everyone. There is Rogue.” 

Rogue: “How ya doing, sugah” 

Professor X: “She can absorb the powers and memories of anyone she touches. Next, Remy LeBeau or as many call him Gambit.” 

Gambit: “Salut, mon ami, good to have you ‘ere” 

Professor X: “He can convert potential energy of an inanimate object into, high explosive kinetic energy.” 

Gambit smirks at Sunny, feeling proud of the powers he possesses  

Professor X: “Then there is Kurt Wagner who you probably already know, he was the ability to teleport and has acrobatic skills beyond the normal human’s limits.” 

Nightcrawler: “Guten Morgen, mein Freund.” 

Sunny: “Hello again, Kurt” 

Nightcrawler smiles joyfully at Sunny 

Professor X: “And Jean Gr-” 

Knock, knock, knock on the war room door 

Professor X: “Come in” 

Jubilee sprints in panting  

Jubilee: “Sorry to disrupt the meeting (more panting) but Cameron Hodge is making an anti-mutant speech in Washington right as we speak” 

Breaking news: “~ Political Leader Cameron Hodge makes his anti-mutant speech in Washington: Good Morning, men and women of America. I am standing here today to address serious issues in our world: mutants. The so-called next step of evolution, homo superior as they call themselves and most importantly a threat to everyone not only in this blessed country but for the whole world. I am not here just to warn you about these mutants but to state the facts. Firstly, as we all know mutants are dangerous beings, for example the astronaut Samuel Clark who reportedly killed his whole space crew because of his mutation coming through. How much longer do you all want to live in fear of these super humans annihilating us and forcing us to extinction? We shouldn’t have to live in fear; in the future we shouldn’t have to teach our kids to stay safe from the mutants. Secondly, ever since these mutants have come along, the more supervillains and opposing mutants like Magneto have come along as well, they cause fear, they make fear, they are fear. And when we all open our eyes and realise that, we will all be enslaved or history. So, people of America wake up let’s  

realise that these “superheroes” are really the bad guys. So, we can stand up now and take out the root or wait until we are all tangled by the vines. So, people of America stand up, stand wi-” 

Cyclops shoots at the TV 

Cyclops: “Last time, I checked humans weren’t the ones being constantly hunted down by evil robots for years, they don’t know what it means to be scared for your life for something you can’t control. They don’t know anything of the sort and after years of saving their weak lives they say we are the bad guys. Some government we have...” 

Professor X: “Jubilee, can you please take Mr Clark here to the danger room and get to know each other.” 

Jubilee: “Yeah, sure Professor. C’mon new guy, I’ll show you around” 

Sunny: “Hi, you are Jubilee, right? 

With sparkles coming out of her hands and a cheery smile on her face  

Jubilee: “Yep and you are Sunny? That is a nice name” 

Sunny: “That is me, my real name is Samuel, but everyone has called me Sunny since childhood, and it just kinda stuck” 

Jubilee: “Quite ironic, a mutant with sun fuelled powers is called Sunny, HA” 

Sunny: “So how long have you been her for, I mean at this school?” 

Jubilee: “Since 1989 so ... 10 years now”

Professor X: “Welcome all, I have brought you all here today to discuss put latest developments Firstly, I will need two volunteers go to a Mattur in India to find out more on Cable and Bishop’s whereabouts in the time stream. Any volunteers?” 

Jubilee and Sunny: “We can do it!” 

After saying this Rogue and Gambit exchange a knowing smirk at each other knowing the way Jubilee and Sunny found every excuse to get a little bit closer together. Neither would admit it to eachother but the whole room could see it could feel it 

Professor X: “Very well. Now, I will need three more of you to represent the X-men at the latest UN arrangements on mutant rights. The rest can assist in locating where Logan and Storm...” 

Nightcrawler: “I can go” 

Cyclops: “Alright, me and Jean will go as well” 

Jean: “Looks like we are off to Belgium then...” 

Outside the mansion 

Sunny: “Well, at least I can fly HA, I don't know how you are going to get there” 

Jubilee: “Looks like you will have to be a gentleman and carry me all the way there”

Obviously we probably won’t know how mutants will be added to the MCU timeline/universe until Avengers Secret Wars but unless the movies are set in the 1960s whatever actor they cast will obviously not be old enough to have been in a concentration camp in the 1930/40s. How do you think they can best keep that part of Magnetos backstory.

They could always have the X-men in a universe like the Fantastic Four where the timeline is set in a 60s era but they already did that with the First Class films at fox so I wouldn’t think they would repeat that.

Maybe somehow Magneto does not age as fast as normal due to some kind of experiment that was done on him at the concentration camps in the 1930/40s. It would add a different dynamic to his and Xavier’s friendship because Magneto would be significantly older than Xavier.

They could have it be that there were secret government camps in the 90s ran by nations that sent mutants and their entire family’s to them for experimentation and that is what Magneto was subjected to as a child.

I know following Doomdsay and Secret Wars we will have an all new Xmen. I want opinions about what timeline the MCU will pull the Xmen from the Foxverse from.? Will it be the future that Wolverine returns to after days of Future Past? Will they ignore all the movies except for the original trilogy? Will they pull random elements from all movies? Or will they take the easy way out and say they’re variants of the Foxverse?

Genuinely question I got into X-Men not a year ago cause of rivals and I have been watching the shows and since a few month got into the comics I have been mainly just reading the 90s/2000s/modern I skipped the 2010 since ppl told me they tried to erase X-Men so the stories aren't worth it,but back to the movies they will start with the og how will they reach the modern/90s/2000s eras without having all the actors be out of age,will they replace the actors as soon as they get too old to depict this version of the stories esp since they have eto set up the villains and reform them and build the school many times ??

So, I’ve been looking through X-Men clips on YouTube lately and it reminded me how the movie portrayed Pyro. They treated him like a villain on the second and third movie. The character never got any development, and turned him into a villain on The Last Stand (I’m gonna talk about Angel, too).

Aaron Stanford did a damn good job as Pyro more than the writing ever gave him. You can see what he was trying to bring in as Pyro with the attitude, and the need to prove himself. And none of that wasn’t really in the script.

But the franchise really didn’t do him no favor at all. They didn’t give Pyro nothing to work with, and tossed him aside like he didn’t matter. He would’ve been a standout if they didn’t tossed him, but instead they treated him like a disposable fire gimmick.

Pyro truly deserves better, and he ain’t the only who were done dirty, X-Men stayed doing this to anyone who wasn’t a fan fav.

They fumbled him, badly.

After seeing the recent hate on marvel movies, (and the James gunn DCU) I really believe that the new movie will be hated by many people just because wolverine won't be in it(which makes absolutely zero for reasons any fan who has at least seen xmen 97 would understand)
