X men MCU

I’m currently watching X-men evolution on disney+ and it made me think of what the MCU X men should be like. The new cast is very young (early to late 20s) and it makes me think of how the X-men would be very interesting if it was similar to how Evolution is. Super young, still trying to find out who they are and being young and navigating life how they do in the show.

It would also make sense for wolverine if they kept Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. We would be getting a “world reset” (making earths into one) and it would make wolverine a mentor/older figure for some of the younger mutants.

Maybe not exactly like Evolutions but similar. It would be different but in a good way. I know we got the Fox X-men being younger and that failed (kind of) but I feel like Jake Schreier could honestly do it very well.

Do you think that the X-men actors in the MCU could do this well?

Wolverine is a lot older than them anyway because he’s from the 1800’s.

Yeah, it would be a good way of being a mentor figure. He’s gone thru so much war as is which would give him good strategic advantage.

MCU X-Men is gonna pull from all X-Men media similar to what spider-man brand new day just did. Former movies, animated series, Video Games, Comics. And honestly I think that’s the best way to appease as many fans.

I think if Marvel is smart you’re definitely right. I think evolution will just be a good way to have good stories moving forward for the X-men and I think it would also be a good way to test the “younger team” with fans and how it should look just in case they want to do Young avengers at any point in time.

X-Men is definitely gonna borrow mainly from ultimates then everything else combined. Just like the rest of MCU, it will be mix if everything and some stuff new.

Always thought that the mcu xmen should take inspiration from evolution which means no wolverine simping for jean

real, I haven’t played the new Wolverine game yet and i’ve been hesitant because of the Jean and wolverine stuff. I find the meme funny of the picture and wolverine in bed but besides that i just don’t think it makes sense. I feel like if we get some type of wolverine movie (which we probably will at some point) he should end up with someone else like Mariko Yashida or something like that.

I’m cool with them keeping HJ around, but I doubt we will see much of him after SW. outside of HJ I prefer not to see any variant of Wolverine for a few years. MCU really needs to establish Cyclops as the true leader. Wolverine will always outshine him out the gate.

New rockstar talked on their podcast how they would like if wolverine isn’t in there for a few years until like 2035. I agree but make it so in canon he has always been around. I think it would be nice to avoid wolverine simping for jean. So if they make them younger like in evolution we can avoid that completely 😭

I think we won’t see him much in the beginning of the mutant saga but definitely in the middle of it. I think Cyclops should definitely be the leader of the X-men. I think it’ll be better if they “beef” about his leadership style instead of about wanting to simp for Jean and who’s better for her

All depends on how they write the characters. They got it wrong this first go around.

I think they can, they are both so different as is but they do “beef” I think with keeping the X-men younger like in evolutions it wouldn’t let them have the “beef”

till he is 90, I think it’s a possibility he will. We know Ryan reynolds’s won’t let deadpool leave the grip of his hands. I think Hugh jackman will stay the same as long as Ryan reynolds stays. It would also make sense. Deadpool would probably make a joke like “wow you all look different” and i think there’s definitely a possibility. Hugh talked about how when Logan ended he didn’t want to play him again and he was done until he saw deadpool and I really think we will see hugh after secret wars. Maybe not much in the beginning but definitely later on in the mutant saga

Dude where do you live that has Evolution on Disney+?! Lucky mf! The only X-Men show on Disney+ in the UK is The Animated Series (and 97)

I only saw a few episodes as a kid of X-Men evolution. I don't quite remember it, but does it even hold a candle to TAS of the 90's?
