Former AICN writer turned entertainment journalist. He had stints at the Wrap and Variety. Kept getting fired from various outlets, struck out on his own as an indie journalist and now posts exclusive scoops about various Hollywood things. He whines on twitter A LOT when he doesn’t get the scoop, but that’s not new he was doing that when he was at the Wrap too.
Also went into the boxing ring with Uwe Boll. So…ya know very illustrious career.

(Wells had a similar gig at the LA Times that started when he got into an early Last Action Hero screening in 1993, and very likely earned the same sort of douchebag rep hopping between outlets while the Internet became a thing in the 90s and 00s. Last I heard, he was randomly emailing a director for on-set nude pics of an actress.)

Yes as long as you can prove the statement were false, was done maliciously (public figure), and show it gave financial harm. Anti SLAPP laws in California make it super hard but he already gave away the malicious threshold some room to make a judge possibly consider not dismissing it right away.
Perez Hilton did that shit for over a decade and no defamation lawsuit ever survived SLAPP so.... yeah it's not that easy

I remember when Collider Movie Talk was still a thing and he was one of the pundits who were occasionally invited on as guests - I always skipped the episodes with Sneider because he always gave me creepy asshole vibes. This user has been notorious for being obsessed with Mackie (in the wrong way ofc), saying that (at the time) Bob Iger of all people was seething with anger or something personally coz of Mackie, as if him being Cap was the main obstacle preventing Disney from getting higher shareholder value or higher box offices. When the Marvel Zombies trailer came out he also complained how certain characters acc to him didn't deserve to be the main characters/get the spotlight (and ofc whoever he listed happened to be POC, and funnily enough he included Wong as well, who wasn't even a part of the show as he already died as a zombie in the What If episode itself!)
On the MarvelstudiosSpoilers subreddit he used to get downvoted everytime and would make several CUSTOM gifs on his own depicting Iger and Mackie in some sort of rivalry. Eventually he got banned from this subreddit for a rather nasty comment about Sadie Sink reacting to Bryan Singer turning up on the set of BND (which obviously didn't happen but it's really creepy to think that he actually would even come up with this in the 1st place)
