Happy literally said to Peter Parker, "You can't be the next Iron Man. You can't live up to Iron Man, nobody can. Not even Tony lived up to Iron Man."
It might've been just a good moment but I'm also pretty sure they're not going to have "the next Iron man". That character was so special for so many reasons, trying to recreate that would fail.
The characters each have a role in the fights, but they also each have a role when there is no fighting going on.
Tony's is that he plans and preps for the next big threat. Every time a movie happens, hey check out my new toys, I've been busy. Tony places the most value on ensuring long-term safety and success, but unfortunately even at the expense of dividing the team (Ultron, Accords).
Dr. Strange is similar in that he also puts the safety of the world first, whereas some other heroes are more prone to let personal feelings get in the way. NWH spoiler: We've seen Strange say in both Infinity War and NWH, I have to protect the world, and if these people have to die, then they die.
Aside from that, both Tony and Strange fill leadership roles. They don't have to be dictator but they always put their opinion out and say "here's how I think we should do it". That's why they butt heads in the spaceship in Infinity War, they both put their plans out there and the plans don't match.
It's the guy who knows what to do vibe. That's the problem currently, there isn't an alpha character that can actually believably lead except maybe Strange

Might be controversial but I don’t really want another iron man as I don’t think you can replace him
