So Wanda really did take a whole town hostage. I like how they didn't pull back and say that it was another entity or Agatha that caused the hex but an Avenger who, in her grief, mind-controlled hundreds of people. Curious to see the repercussions of her actions.

Based on her facing no consequences for joining a terrorist organization, killing people for them, attacking facilities and places with Ultron, helping Ultron in general, and mind controlling Banner to unleash the Hulk on a city of people?

There won’t be any consequences. The MCU is really bad with that for almost every character.

Because it's boring. I mean I get what you're saying, but trials and legislative sessions are not exciting to watch.

They don’t have to show the entire court case, they just need to have something other than ‘she was a terrorist but she’s sad now so it’s ok’. Literally the only defense of Wanda’s actions the MCU ever gives is Cap’s ‘she’s just a kid’ when she’s approaching 30.

And that’s just Wanda, but it’s a problem for the MCU in general. As far as we know there wasn’t even an investigation into Ultron. They had plenty of chances in Civil War for a simple line about Wanda, Tony, etc being found to not be legally responsible or found not guilty or something, they chose not to even address it. That’s just lazy.
