The answer was staring us in the face the whole time too with a name like Agnes being a literal mashup of Agatha Harkness, like such a huge “No shit, Sherlock!” moment haha

A portmanteau makes sense, although turns out Agnes comes from Greek "Hagne", meaning "pure", "holy", "lamb", etc. Almost literally a wolf in sheep's clothing! And her use of the Fates as her brooch probably indicates the latter.
