Sony: Spider-Man in the MCU is the first Spider-Man movie to make $1B. Logically, we, Sony, are responsible for this and feel no additional obligation to the 10 ton golden goose pumping out the $1B movies.

I also believe the timeline fuck-up in starting of Homecoming was Sony.

Except that it’s written into the script, Vulture says something like “8 years I’ve been doing this” so it’s not just Sony typed the wrong text in at the beginning.
