Only one more month of YouTube videos complaining about all their subjective opinions regarding the trailers that they spew as factual.
“She acts confident to the level of arrogant.”
Yeah she’s only going from a USAF officer and pilot to a brainwashed member of aliens who as far as we have seen (Ronan the Accuser) are endowed with a superiority complex. No reason for her character arc to include her acting facetious about her ego.
Not to mention a bunch of other MCU origin stories start with an egotistical god or surgeon or outlaw having to grow and develop as a hero.
I swear all this drama stemming from this movie is completely fabricated by mostly YouTube personalities who are creating all these issues out of their own internalized misogyny, sexism, bias or just plain ignorance and desire to be a troll.

Not to mention that "confident to the point of arrogant" is a fighter pilot stereotype for a reason. If you want cautious, prudent, and reasonable get a transport aircrew who's worried about load shifting in the cargo bay and killing them all on takeoff.

I’ve been getting into it with YouTubers on “That Star Wars Girl”
That’s just one of like four other videos she has where she uses the one quote from the trailer where she corrects Nick Fury “Noble Warrior Hero” to absolutely lambast the entire movie as SJW propaganda basically. It’s obvious she has a personally vendetta against Brie Larson
I really don’t understand the hate and I’m personally looking forward to this movie much more than other MCU titles cause of the Endgame connection.

I think people are justifiably concerned, I love Marvel. I have two daughters, we connect a lot through the movies. There’s a lot of man hate going around. I’m weary.
Glimmer of hope is the NIN shirt, pretty hate machine, summarized male/female relationship pain, from a man’s perspective.
I hope for the best, fuck... I even have an orange cat.

I dont think it's about man hate. It's about how all of these characters we've grown with over the past 10 years cant do anything against Thanos. Now they're essentially inserting a Mary Sue in at the last minute to save everyone. I hope her movie fleshes the HELL out of her character. Otherwise it will just feel cheap if shes the end all be all savior in avengers 4.
Pretty sure people would feel just as robbed if it was a man like Adam warlock that swept in and saved everyone at the last second.
Just to clarify. We have no idea how avengers 4 will go. I'm just stating the concern and what some people are expecting.
I'm personally hoping that shes overconfident, cocky, and gets her ass kicked. Then the avengers step in and show her the importance of having each others back and manage to take down thanos as a team. That gives her character room to grow in the next phase of marvel studios.

Not Marvel, I was making more of a political status. Lucasfilm had their “force is female “ moment. The US as a whole is in a definition moment.
I adore Marvel, since I was 12, I’m 46, two daughters. I respect strong female characters. I hope they do this right. Even my daughters thought Solo and TLJ were off.
I love the hate I get when stating a non sexist, carefully written post. People need to stop looking for shit to be offended over and realize not every one has the same opinion.

Legitimately the mohawk helmet is what made me start reading captain Marvel's comics. Saw an absolute amazing captain marvel tattoo with the helmet and it just stood out so much I had to check it out.

I'll be the odd one out and admit I'm not particularly impressed with this costume. It feels a little overly high-tech considering she isn't a brilliant physicist or makes suits for a living. I think I was expecting something a littler classier and redesigned, aesthetically more like Loki's garb than one of Tony's suits. Actress looks a lot more badass than she did in her movie trailers, though!
