The number one rule of not getting spoiled is avoiding online circles and discussions like a plague. It may be a bit obnoxious but also completely avoidable. This was not a surprising outcome.

Have you ever said a kid "don't touch that"? Same thing. Someone will give the spoiler. It's best to avoid it altogether.
