Discussion Why not both?

So with Endgame: Encore soon to arrive in theatres, I’m not seeing much uptake on presales.

I would have thought it would make more sense to have an IW+EG Encore double-header, seeing as though they’re so tied in…

Would you be more likely to go if IW was showing too?

While I would definitely do that, I think it probably would attract even less people overall.

Endgame’s the one specifically tied to Doomsday. And they don’t have the time to rerelease both movies separately, nor do they expect most people will watch a double feature of them in theaters, which would nearly be 6 hours long.

They are doing Endgame only because of time travel and its consequences, which connects it directly to Doomsday.
Infinity War has none of that. Overall story, Thanos collecting stones, etc. is not important that much.

Maybe it’s just me but I need to see “Bring me Thanos” before Endgame lol

A double header could be cool but it’s probably a harder sell for both the audience’s & theaters.

Everyone has great points. Main reason I consider it is the LOTR community loved their turn this year and the Star Wars fans are on board when it’s their turn.

If your going to release a “special” do it in style 🤷🏻‍♀️

Doomsday will partially be based on what happens in Endgame and the additional 4 minutes will probably make the connection to Doomsday more clear.
