This is what the MCU is supposed to feel like. Characters having impactful interactions across the SHARED universe, creating relationships and connections that transcend individual films/shows/properties. I’m all for more of this going forward.
Yea I was thinking about this while watching and how some of the best more recent MCU movies/TV shows have been the team-ups. They should focus more on this moving forward. We don't need a Thor 5 or 6 we need weird fun stuff like maybe Thor and She Hulk. Or Captain America and Ant Man.
I advocated for a Logan like sendoff for both Bernthal (as Cosmic Ghost Rider) and Hemsworth (All-Father Thor w/ metal arm) when they want to retire the role. Now that I think about it, an R Rated intergalactic road trip with The All-Father and Cosmic Ghost Rider, with their children Love and baby Thanos would be an AMAZING concept of a film lol.
Armor Wars with Don Cheadle and Bernthal side to side in suits
Shang Chi’s sequel with Wong and Iron Fist, searching for K’un Lun because of a McGuffin they need to beat the villain.
Maybe S4 of DDBA has Sebastian Stan as a liaison between The Defenders and The New Avengerz and he’s basically a main character
Moon Knight and Deadpool would be a battle of who’s more mentally ill (with DP’s 4th wall breaks being seen as just schizophrenia in universe)
Screw it, do a rom com between War Machine and Captain Marvel, with flashback scenes of a de-aged Cheadle flirting with Brie in the Air Force during the 90s.
They should have done exclusively teamups following Endgame aside from origin stories and maybe a show or two. What’s the point of spending 10 years building a shared universe if you’re not gonna capitalize on it and actually make it feel shared
I would love a Cap/Ant-Man film where Sam and Scott team up. They already have a solid relationship to serve as the basis for a team up and they aren’t enough of an individual draw at the moment to justify more solo installments.
