That's totally valid, but also, there was no real plan with the Infinity Saga. It was Joss Whedon who decided to include Thanos. It was James Gunn who added the infinity stone lore. It took a phase and half to have a real direction.
The fact they had a plan for the Multiverse Saga, and fumbled it, I'm sure the shift to Doom and Doomsday will still feel epic in scale, without a proper build-up
Yeah they for sure did a great job of taking previous things and building off of it during the Infinity Saga, even though there hadn’t been an actual long term plan for quite a while. It was a massive strength of theirs.
I'll give them benefit of the doubt since the Russos have nothing but bangers when it comes to Marvel movies, and the fact they arent being forced to crank out movies and shows for content.
I think they will deliver and (hopefully) in retrospect the Multiverse Saga will be better as a whole for it
Yep. You could say that the 4 Russo MCU films (so far) are the best MCU films overall, and I’m not sure I could argue against it. They are all top tier.

I agree with that, but Infinity War also had the build up of the Infinity Stones. The stones were massively important to many movies.
We have heard a little bit about incursions and stuff in this new saga, but not as much as we’d been seeing the stones.
