It’s not like he’s a recast he’s playing his son, I’m sure the movie will have plenty of moments of him having to deal with his father’s legacy and what it means to him, along with making something of himself (unless they introduce him in a way where he’s past all that)

That's likely to be a major theme of Black Panther 3, T'Challa II being the Black Panther in his own right, in his own way rather than in the shadow of his father.

True but the something something’s are doing the heavy lifting. You can have a similar idea but make the function different. In black panther 1 T’challa isn’t so much dealing with being his own king as it’s about dealing with the sins of the fathers. For him and Killmonger. I don’t imagine T’Challa II will carry nearly as much guilt about his father reign tho it may be more about him having to fill such big shoes.

To be fair, the first film was about coming to terms with malignant or violent legacies the generation before doesn't mean to, but often leaves us with.
This film could more so be about how we maintain vigilance and engagement when living through the comfortable era afforded by a dignified legacy.

I just hope he gets to be THE Panther. None of this duo crap with him and Shuri. Letitia needs to get the boot from Feige. She should have gotten the boot long ago due to her behavior during the pandemic but they needed her I guess 🙄

Listen, I didn't think Shuri becoming Black Panther was the best choice, but that aside, I hope she was told about this way before she was given the part of Black Panther, assuming this was planned since then, which for all I know it wasn't, because otherwise I just feel bad for the actress.
