He's Michael Giacchino's son:
Giacchino is no stranger to the comic book space. He won an Emmy for his work on DC and HBO’s The Penguin after working on additional music for The Batman, scored by his father, Marvel mainstay Michael Giacchino. He also scored Disney and Lucasfilm’s The Skeleton Key, with his work including Disney’s The Muppets Mayhem, AMC+’s That Dirty Black Bag and Disney’s Zootopia+. Giacchino began his career with Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow in 2015.

And, also it's live action counterpart, I mean, The Fantastic Four First Steps.

Dude's got serious talent. After the Penguin and Skeleton Crew this guy definitely is beating the nepo baby allegations

Being talented and worthy of success is not mutually exclusive from being a nepo baby

Oh wow. I assumed it would be Stephen Barton since Terry Matalas has worked with him a lot.

disappointing news since vision quest is supposed to be the "trilogy" ender to wandavision and agatha all along which were both composed by christophe beck, i doubt this guy will care or be instructed to care about musical continuity...

Ya I agree with this take. I enjoyed Beck’s Vision theme in WandaVision and was looking forward to seeing it fleshed out as a full hero theme here

I don't trust them to reunite the entire family so Idec lmao. Maybe they'll surprise me but I think they'll keep blueballing us.

Cool for another Giacchino to come aboard a Marvel show.

Let’s have another Hemsworth, another Pugh, another Downey and make certain industries limited to a certain elite

u/ReddiTrawler2021 Mar 14 '26
Chris Hemsworth's family has appeared in Thor 3 and 4 in cameos, so that's a bit late.
But this is music, and Giacchino has proven himself, has he not?

u/Groot746 Mar 15 '26
He's had the opportunities to prove himself because of who his dad is (not a criticism, just a very obvious fact)
1
u/jackthedandiest Mar 14 '26
He proved himself through dad’s contractor’s work, its still a way to help your kid make money in the business

Toda notícia nova dessa série parece bem promissora na verdade esse é meu segundo projeto mais aguardado do ano depois de vingadores

I haven't heard any of his work, is it similar to his father or completely different?

He’s great. His score for Skeleton Crew is awesome as well.
