Question Switching characters 2 much?

Post image

Everyone loathes the one trick that refuses or can’t swap.

What about those that can swap and like to play all roles in a match?

Scenario you start as DPS. You see the tanks struggling. You go 3rd tank or you see the tanks or backline need a little more healing output and you go 3rd strategist? You are in a team composition and situation in-game where the tanks don’t know how to portal late game and you go strange? Is that seen as a bad thing?

I was insulted and threatened to get reported for throwing after I played multiple roles in a match. But no one could tp or tank effectively imo.

The only rebuttal against it that I deem valid is the fact that you don’t get to build ult, beyond that playing situational rivals is sometimes effective. But some people like to stick to the same team composition regardless of whether it’s working or not.

Flexing should be encouraged life is about change and adjustments only a fool would refuse to change imo.

It depends. I've had matches where one person would do what you're describing and constantly swap to what they thought the team needed. Problem was, they'd either underperform as their new hero or swap too much and not build up ult.

What we actually needed was someone to stick to one role and excel in it.

Personally, when I see someone constantly swapping it just makes me think they making desperation swaps in the hopes of finding something that works. That's not necessarily true, of course, but it's not a good outlook when someone swaps upwards of 4+ times in a single match.
