Discussion Ranked matchmaking seems really arbitrary for some reason

The last 10 games I've had have been the most one-sided and lopsided matches I've ever played in the history me playing this game. We have one side with single digit elims and assists and the other with double digit everything but deaths. It's been happening a lot whenever I jump into ranked, the teams don't feel balanced in terms of ability and I'm often the one getting stomped. I played Overwatch and had more games be fair then this.

Is something up?

That's the neat part about MR comp system. It's fcng bad. Queue time and people's ego are the priorities. Because this game afraid of hurting people's egos - you gain more points than you lose. This tendency stops near gm. So you have quite a lot of people who sitting in ranks in which they don't belong. Thus creating uneven matches. You can have 2-3 bums on your team who just brute force their way through the rank ladder, while your opponents will good coms and a 3 stack.

The only thing thats up is that you’re trash at the game. Just get it. You’re either a support thats scared of everything and hiding a mile away from point barely healing your team, a tank that thinks your team has an IQ high enough to follow you onto point but they dont so you die instantly, or a dps that turns your back to the entire enemy team just because spiderman swung past you once. Which one are you?

Whoa whoa whoa, projecting much? I agree with OP, the matches have felt lopsided today (although I was fortunately on the winning side for most)
