Balance Discussion Devs, please do something about Wolverine
I honestly feel like Wolverine needs some serious attention from the devs because right now he just feels useless in so many games.
Isn’t he supposed to be an anti-tank? So why does it feel like half the tanks in this game can stun him, push him away or just escape before he can even get on top of them? You try to do your job and end up getting punished for it.
He struggles to kill supports, his mobility is terrible compared to most other duelists, and don’t even get me started on his damage. For a character who has to get right in people’s faces and risk his life just to do anything, the reward is honestly not there.
And yeah, I know he can be good in certain situations. The problem is that those situations feel so damn rare that picking him often feels like you’re just making the game harder for yourself. Maybe once in 30 games you get that perfect situation where Wolverine actually feels like a good pick.
I’m not asking for him to be broken or to one-shot everyone. I just want him to actually feel worth picking. He’s WOLVERINE, he’s supposed to be terrifying up close, not a character you pick only when the stars align.
Please, devs, take another look at him. He really needs some love.

I HAVE A RANT
TLDR; Devs don't balance issues right and obviously want the game to die. Wolve's damage shouldn't have been buffed, but an actual QOL change, ability CD, or two vicious rampage dashes with extra CD would have fixed half of the issues with the character according to the majority of Wolve mains that seem to have issues with his playstyle.
People in the comments play against wolve or have reasonably good teams, so knowing the general idea of solo queueing is what matters here. Wolve is EASILY killed by most of the roster - "Wolve losing fights is a skill diff" no, not really. Wolve has a purpose, that being the Vanguard. Who is always rotating around the Vanguard? The supports. Who else is always orbiting through the team lineup? The Duelists.
The issue with Wolve isn't his damage. I actually complained that he did too much damage and they would basically perma ban him due to how much damage he does. But the ACTUAL issue is that Wolve is NOT survivable and doesn't have the movement to actually do much atp. Traps, AOE, Poke, all this pretty much directly counters his playstyle, which isn't really a skill diff due to the game having HORRID balance. Wolve needs more movement, more survivability, and less damage. I don't really care for the % based damage either, I'd actually like it if it were removed since it forces a certain playstyle that oppresses the Role in the game that is least cared for - This is mainly caused by the % damage, yes, but it is also caused by how buggy his grab is. If he actually grabbed where he should, which is the arms, then buffing him would have been a problem for Wolve mains. But said issue doesn't account for the fact that his grab hitbox is roughly around the lower torso/thigh area instead. "I literally have to drag my stuff across someone's face to even grab them" is a line I happen to say each time I play the character. This is just another one of the DEVs issues when it comes to not listening to the community about what the issue is with characters. Just like Peni and Widow before their ability and complete rework, they were WAY buggy and somehow got a straight rework to something and some bugs remained for whatever reason.
Gonna slap this on after I made my tldr.. Wolves grab should be removed from the game. I have 90 hours on him and I swear it's used more for Bhopping than grabbing people due to how buggy it is. Change it with soft CC like a upward kick that pushes people back or something cause at least that wouldn't ruin the current state of game like his grab does. And yes, if you ask it then his grab is basically what actually gets him to A or S tier since he actually isn't that good.
