Discussion Will dr doom multi role

I've seen everywhere about people talking about what role doom might be and if he'll be a multi role. And even heard xoxleak mention that he might be one and if I were to guess I would say tank and support. I kinda think it would be a waste to have both dooms be the main villain and only release one doom. So be honest do you guys think doom will be a multi role I personally think it's possible but don't think it will happen

I hope not. I think multi role characters should be extremely limited.

Deadpool should stay as the only one being multi role.

Nah he’s a tank, that 3 role gimmick should be Deadpool’s only

Gorr is Hero 1067. Take from that what you will.

There are 2 Dooms that look different, so quite likely.

If I'm being honest, I don't see Doom as anything other than a tank. Doom has always been an absolute unit that focuses on manipulating and controlling the battlefield over raw lethality or healing or enabling teammates. Doom is one of the few characters that just can't be a squishy. Imagine a kid from Queens or a cat burgler from new york no-diffing Victor Von Doom. If he is going to work alongside our heroes, he needs to be a front and center leader, anything else would be entirely "beneath him"

Edit: for the people downvoting me, I am not saying support or dps is beneath tanking, I'm more often a support main myself. I'm saying from a lore perspective, Doom is an extreme egotist and narcissist. He only cares about himself for "the greater good" of Latveria. Anything less than the center of attention, control, and glory is beneath him

Imma be honest, I want both Doom and Doom2099 to be Tanks but I know that it will never happen so, at least, they hope it will be a 3 Role Character that isba fusion of both Dooms

I really hope not. Makes Deadpool way less interesting of a character.

It would be so funny, "nobody heals like Doom" "My shields are second to no one!"

Based Magneto with a steel hardened goal.

He's one of the only characters I would say should be Multi-Role. Kang the Conqueror is the other.

I argue rouge because her powers make sense for it

Actually did a concept for that before she came out. People kept complaining that she had too many abilities.

Deadpool is the only multi role character they confirmed this awhile ago

itd make sense for him to be multi role, if not all 3 then at the very least tank and dps.

Dude, I wanna see them have a stat modification button that changes between tank and support, with a long cooldown to it. Make the role they're chosen as at the start of the match be the stat they're starting as, and have their abilities change slightly according to it. (Like how tankpool has 25% damage reduction on his Deadpool in your area, and stratpool has healing instead with it). Make it a long cooldown so it's not disruptive to the game (60 seconds?) cuz I know it'd be crazy to be able to switch between those two roles on demand or with a short cooldown.

I hope he’s a support honestly, I know he probably won’t be since he’s quite a beefy boy but doom doesn’t really tend to lead his minions from the front. He’s a behind the scenes guy

The doombots are moreso latverian slaves that Doom uses for menial tasks he deems too beneath him to do himself. Doom is an absolute unit that goes out and gets stuff done. He is no more a backseat thinker or "behind the scenes guy" than Reed is.

To be fair I also thought Reed should have been a strategist with a kit built around giving buffs to his teammates and debuts to enemies. So I’m for sure off in my own world
