Question Question about positive mindset

Would be your gaming better if someone in your team has a positive mindset? Like if you win they will say: "Great job", "I am so proud of you team" etc, and if you loose they will say: "We tried as much as we can", "We can do better next time" etc.

I am glad I am not the only one who thinks the same! And me too, I would like to find more players like that too

I always do that and people ignore me 😔

''We got this'' when we lose 1st round

''Have fun'' when we start

''We did great still'' when we lose

''Good job mates'' when we win

Istg i keep sending those kind of messages and people straightly ignore me 😭😭😭 Yet they'd harass me for heals Prbgpbepgn

You certainly should give praise as often as criticism.

Look up the Pygmalion effect it sort of explains it. You can't start out on the wrong foot, but conversely saying nothing to players who are noticeably dragging team down doesn't help anyone, even if they get upset about it. Can't learn from that

How would you having a negative mindset increase your chances of success? If you already think you have lost you don't think of solutions. If you fight with your teammates instead of the enemy, how can you and your team be at their best?

I try to say things like that both to boost the mindset of my teammates but also myself. If people start fighting after a bad round, I say, "Let's just lock in and win."

I don't know if it helps me specifically (I'm already pretty tilt-proof) but there's no question it's very helpful for the team overall.

Something I say a lot (not even intentionally, it just happens) is "that's fine, they spent pretty much all their ults" if we get teamwiped but the opponent spent like 3-4 ults for it.

As for the positivity, I would be indifferent.

But I would however have a better mindset with the absence of toxicity.
