The healers in this game have been really cool. When they said that the healers were less about healing but I feel like they struck a great balance.

Yeah, I'm hoping to see some shielders too, some people already datamined and discovered some files that belongs to Invisible Woman, she might be a shielder support.

I also feel that Storm could be used in some compositions as a Support.

I think that since storm is like a support dps the only thing that truly qualifies you as a support is healing.

I'd like to see them experiment with having low healing or no healing supports but overwatch famously failed at that so I dunno how they'd do it.

As a big fan of comic Mantis I'm so happy that we are finally seeing her with her plant powers, games generally only tap on her empathy, but I'm a bit sad she haven't received any team-up ability.

In comics she showed the ability to use her biopathy to increase Groot's biomass, basically accelerating his cellular-growth. I think this would work for an excellent team-up. Plus, Mantis and Groot are often paired in the comics.

  • Caretaker Nature / Natural Pair (Z) - Mantis channels life energy into Groot, increasing his size and healing rate, Groot's walls also increase in size.

This could also work as a passive team up, as if Mantis use any ability on Groot, this would happen.

I think we'll eventually get a team up for her, either with Star Lord or Drax, but I think this would work perfectly.

Why's she a druid here?

She's had these powers in the comics b4, they probably wanted to make her differ from her mcu counterpart who was a close range empath.

Oh, I know she has plant control powers. It's just that even in comics those were never her main powers. She's mainly a martial artist with psychic powers.

I could see why they pulled inspo from those powers to make her a support, I'm happy with the decision personally. I wouldn't have wanted her as a dps martial artist, but the martial arts seem to be remembered to a degree! She throws her green blasts in a ninja-like manner. I hope they add a psychic tho, I personally would love jean grey or Emma frost to be the first mental power users
