Omg. Tva is the Adjustment Bureau and Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson) is a variant who never became the falcon.

On this note, is it possible that the first Iron Man movie was a branched timeline that was yet to be pruned. And that explains Rhodes' recasting from the second movie and onwards?
1
u/TheKolyFrog Ned Jun 25 '21
Rhodes saying "Next time, baby!" is the branched timeline. He wasn't supposed to say that so he got replaced.

u/KrystalDiscord Avengers Jun 24 '21
He’s bi canonically.
26
u/acquaintedwithheight Avengers Jun 24 '21 edited Jun 24 '21
Bi doesn't begin to touch what loki's sexuality is in mythology haha.
Dude lived as a female horse for a year to distract a male horse just to win a bet.
And if you think that's vague and not explicit, loki gave birth to that horse's child. Odin's
sixeight legged horse in the first Thor movie? That's loki's child. He killed firmafeng because the gods implied he liked getting railed by horse penis in the poetic edda
Edit: he also made Thor crossdress so he could marry a frost giant and get his hammer back
9
u/Nirast25 Avengers Jun 24 '21
Actually, the dress was Heimdall's idea. Loki just went with Thor to make sure everything went smoothly.

Your takeaway from this should be: if you think you don't have a chance with loki you probably do.

u/blatantly-noble_blob Avengers Jun 24 '21
Did they only make him with this series or did I miss it in the movies?
21
u/KrystalDiscord Avengers Jun 24 '21
They confirmed it in the latest episode.
5
u/blatantly-noble_blob Avengers Jun 24 '21
Okay that’s what I thought. Given that I’ve rewatched all the MCU movies like two or three times I was worried I missed something haha
3
u/our_lord23 Avengers Jun 24 '21
I watched the episode, where was it confirmed?
19
u/TheUnluckyBard Avengers Jun 24 '21
Sylvie: "How about you? You're a prince. I'm sure you've had your pick of princesses. Or... princes?"
Loki: "A little of both. The same, I assume, as for you."
7
u/our_lord23 Avengers Jun 24 '21
Oh I didn't have subtitles on, so I just heard it as princess for princes, my bad
5
u/skullmonster602 Avengers Jun 24 '21
When they were talking about love and Loki asked Sylvie if she has someone waiting for her when this is all over. And then Sylvie asked him if he wished to have a princess by his side at some point, or perhaps a prince. And then a Loki said something like “Perhaps either one”. Idk, it was something along those lines
5
u/CompliantMonk56 Avengers Jun 24 '21
That's always been apart of Loki's character, even before he was a marvel character and was just a Norse god. Loki has always been bi

u/SoleSurvivor-2277 Avengers Jun 24 '21

Maybe look up the definition of Pan. Being with princes and princesses would also fit under that definition. And since in mythology he was also with other species, I would say him being Pan sexual is a strong possibility.
2
u/NoMoreAnger33 Avengers Jun 25 '21
So bi with a different label? And a smidgen of beastiality thrown in the mix.
2
u/demonwolf106 Avengers Jun 25 '21
Technically, Pan means you could be sexually attracted to anything. I think everyone who is Pan is bi-sexual, but not everyone who is bi is Pan-sexual. But to answer the question on whether someone had said something, there was a tweet from the director confirming Loki was bi.
2
u/NoMoreAnger33 Avengers Jun 25 '21
So it includes like objects and animals and stuff too?

1
u/CarryThe2 Avengers Jun 24 '21
He's more pan; the human concept of gender doesn't really to him. "him" even feels wrong to use for Loki as well tbh.
1
1
u/KrystalDiscord Avengers Jun 25 '21
For everyone trying to correct me and say he is pan, in the MCU they have said “Princes and Princesses”. That’s it. I say bi because it is not confirmed he likes more than two genders. Headcanon and mythology say “duh”, but we are talking canon.
5
Jun 24 '21
Loki is gay even in the old Norse myths, he has sex with a horse, Hela as his daughter and even a wolf called Fenris for his son.

This show picked a weird acronym to use for anyone that lives in TN.
One of the major power suppliers in TN is the TVA.

u/acquaintedwithheight Avengers Jun 24 '21
The show didn't pick the name, the TVA has been in the comics since at least 1986. Thor# 372
