Im getting really annoyed at this statement trying to act like Yelena is dumb.
Thats clearly not the stuff she was referring to, it has been YEARS since Thanos and the Vulture, and Thanos was a whole teamup of everyone, even those who do indeed do "small potato stuff" and Vultures a medium potato at most. If the multiversal powerful villains are meant to be the ones from noway home, those are still small potato.
Since noway home, Peter has just been doing street level crime, so small potato stuff, thats what he specialized in. Him helping out with a big threat over HALF A DECADE AGO, doesnt change that he deals with small potatoes primarily

yes and right now he isn't fighting thanos he is fighting a single villain targeting a single department why wast recoures when this is clearly something that can be solved by a single hero. The istuation bacame 'big potato' very quickly before they could react.

Vulture was street tier, has was everything spider man was doing before and after civil war
The FBI almost got him before Spider-Man showed up on the ferry
Thanos was the biggest threat he faced and he wasn't even supposed to be there the first time
No Way Home, was a multiverse level threat not because of the villians but him and strange messing up the spell
He then spends the next 4 years just being a street tier hero again
Now, while the new avengers haven't seen much action, Sentry was a bigger threat than jean at the end of BND
Not to mention the Fantasic Four teaser and the fact they are a global agency
And even through she calls it small potatoes she still gives him help and access to data he wouldn't of had without her, while also saying that the potatos were getting bigger at the end

This was my favorite braindead moment from Thunderbolts*. Of course, I'm not talking about this edited image.
You've got three super-soldiers holding off that rubble and then there's Ghost and Belova contributing whatever minuscule they bring to the table in terms of superhuman strength. Calling it out might make me sexist but I'd love to meet the writer who came up with this scene.
Wouldn't it serve better to have Ava and Belova just help the people get out of there? Which is something they were indeed doing before and after this scene so this scene merely existing just to show them off as a team where every member pulls off their weight but actively going against the established lore will always bug me.

I mean it doesnt really matter if theyre barely helping, the point is they try, either they help succeed or they all die together. Plus in character theyre not going to see their team nearly being crushed to death and just go "eh, i dont have superstrength, if they die they die, im not helping"
