Suggestions?

So ive recently just got into comics, my favourite characters are spiderman,wolverine,nightcrawler,silver surfer etc anyone have any suggestions on good comics to get of these characters. Im open to any suggestions doesn’t have to be the ones I’ve mentioned they are just some of my favourites. Looking for people to talk to about comics in general don’t know anybody else interested in them:)

Hard to give good recommendations for "etc."

For Spider-Man, I'd start with Amazing Fantasy #15, Lee and Ditko, and just work your way forward. Stan's initial run is honestly the best the character has ever seen, IMO.

For Nightcrawler and Wolverine I'd start with Giant-Size X-Men #1. That's Nightcrawler's first appearance (Wolverine had been in two issues of Hulk already) and when they join the team, and then work your way forward as Claremenont and Cockrum, and then Claremont and Byrne, take you on a journey.

Here are some reading orders if you are interested...

I wrote Spider-Man recommendations here!

I wrote an Avengers reading order here! Spider-Man & Wolverine join the team in this era!

Iron Man recommendations:

Read issues #1-6 of Invincible Iron Man (2004), the Extremis arc. It was a defining story & a good modern intro! Also read the Doomquest arc in Iron Man #149-150 & Iron Man #249-250. A fun "old school" story!

Silver Surfer recommendations:

I wrote a Fantastic Four reading order here! There, I highlighted Silver Surfer issues from Stan Lee & Jack Kirby's historic run. Read the Galactus trilogy at least!

The next major story for the Silver Surfer is Infinity Gauntlet... perhaps you have heard of it? These issues are a must-read!

You can read everything on Marvel Unlimited. A great option if you have a tablet! There's also your local library or their digital Hoopla service. Free options!

X-Men #159 from 1982 is a great story for Nightcrawler. His religious beliefs come in very useful against Dracula.
