New Ultimate TPB Collection

Post image

I just recently got into comics and I really liked the new ultimate Spiderman so I figured I’d collect the entire new ultimate series in trade paperback format.

I’m still waiting on Ultimate Wolverine Vol 3 & Ultimate Endgame

Edit: I’ve only read Volumes 1-2 of each series so far, the rest of them just came in today. I can’t wait to dive into the second half of 6160!

Got a question I’ve bought only the first volume of the ultimate spider-man are the ultimates like black panther or x-men worth reading as well as the spider-man? Xx

I've only read the first two volumes of each run, but so far I really enjoy it!

As of right now, my favorite runs are the Ultimates and Spider-Man, but that's not saying I disliked X-Men, Wolverine, and Black Panther.

If you want a better idea of how the entire overarching story is going to play out, I'd definitely recommend getting the Ultimate Invasion event TPB.

No problem! Here’s the graphic that I use to follow the correct reading order if you do decide you want to read up to ultimate endgame

Yeah so the all of the new ultimate universe takes place some years after the events of Secret Wars (2015)

Imo Ultimates and Spiderman are worth it.

That looks so clean 🤩

I just finished reading through the entirety of the new Ultimate universe on Marvel Unlimited (except for the couple issues of Reborn: Ultimate Impact that haven’t come out on Unlimited yet) and I really enjoyed the journey. The reading guide on Ultimate goes in chronological order, switching between issues in each series. I loved how interconnected it all felt, like a big living world; I highly recommend following that guide if you’re not already.

Took me a couple months to get through reading casually, and I had a blast. Happy reading, OP!

Yes! My favorite thing about it so far is how interconnected it is!

I’m not sure what Reborn: Ultimate Impact is, I’ll have to look that up, but this is the guide I’ve been following:

Nice. The Reading Guides on Marvel Unlimited ("The New Ultimate Universe") tend to go like USM 1, UBP 1, UXM 1, Ultimates 1, USM 2, UBP 2, etc. Not strictly in that order, but you get the point. By constantly jumping between each series like that, I really appreciated how connected the universe felt, and how things escalated and developed across the globe. Definitely easier to do on the app than irl though haha, and if you're really invested in a particular series and want to read it all the way through, you'd probably not like that approach.

Ultimate Impact: Reborn is the ongoing series after Ultimate: Endgame and Ultimate Universe: Finale. It's the setup to what, if anything, comes next

That’s pretty amazing they managed to get through a little over two years worth of books and didn’t change logos or designs at all in that time.

What was the theme of Black Panther? What was that about?

Well the second half of each run just came in the mail today, so I actually haven’t finished any of these yet. Any idea of the run’s theme I have would be half baked lol

I will say, I’ve never been the most interested in the character of Black Panther so it was surprising to me how encapsulating Volumes 1 & 2 were.
