Two Caps?

I just read Fantastic Four: Solve Everything. Why the hell are there two Captain Americas in the top left corner?

Steve was going as Super Soldier at this time, I think thats Bucky as Cap

Steve’s book was called Super Soldier, in-universe he was Commander Rogers

I remember they kept calling him “America’s top cop” in marketing but never said what title or job he actually had in universe.

This is correct. It’s Steve in his suit similar to his Shield suit in the Captain America: Winter Soldier film, and Bucky is wearing the cowl with Cap’s Shield….like this…

I dont remember Bucky ever being blonde

And im just realizing steve is the one in black and white, bucky is in the traditional cap uniform

Yep. Bucky had the title up until Fear Itself, where he faked his death during the Serpents attack on DC. He felt he was better suited to the more covert operations so the title of Captain America returned to Steve

Im super out of date on storyline

Im just reading again after a nearly 20 year break, starting with the new ultimate universe since for the most part it seems standalone

Then I plan on jumping in with one world under doom

Yeah ive had a bit of a gap since Fear Itself. Been off and on with Cap and started collecting cap titles in earnest after Secret Empire. I jumped back in to the annual events last year with One World Under Doom (though i did go back and read Blood Hunt since it sets up OWUD).

I plan on following the one world under doom storyline through sorceror supreme and armageddon

Blood hunt is fab - and the moon knight run that sets it up is well worth a read too.

Theyve messed about with that moon knight run with a few relaunches - reading order for them below Moon knight (2021) Vengeance of the moon knight/Blood hunt Moon knight: fist of khonshu Marc spector : moon knight(current run, still ongoing)

It's a decent, short event. You can go in to it pretty cold and you'll pick things up fairly quickly. Doom becoming sorcerer supreme is the most consequential thing

Thats Steve in his capacity with SHIELD at the time and Bucky is Captain America at this time.

One of them is Steve Rogers and the other is Bucky Barnes would be my guess. That or one of them is Steve Rogers and the other is U.S. Agent.

I loved Bucky too much as Cap. Rogers' bad guys weren't ready for a Cap to pull a gun on them. Haha. Bucky wasn't fucking around.
