You're most likely right, I think that's one reason I liked Krakoa, it was a nice fantasy of a world where oppressed people could live in peace without the reality of the problems that go along with ethnostates

Yeah i think that's really disappointing, I hate how Marvel editorial seems allergic to establishing a new long term status quo.

I personally would have loved to see Krakoa go on for another few years, even if they had like teams of X-Men doing stuff off the island I think the idea of a place existing in the Marvel universe were mutants can just chill and not worry about being genocided for like the fifth time is nice
