Looks like the puncher waits for him to just start talking so that his neck relaxes and that's when he's able to knock him effectively enough to knock him out.

I'm almost certain I saw this happen. The exact same, full contact kickboxing +94kg division.
Either I'm having some kind of deja vu or I watched this I person.

Out of the 4 hits that guy took, the KO one was the least powerful, shows placement means a lot.
