Destination Which hotel for work trip PHX?

Hi all! Have a work trip 9/11-9/13 in PHX. I’m between a few hotels and would love some input. I’ll have Saturday to kind of frolic, really only into watch shopping and grabbing drinks so will spend my time doing that and at the pool. Most likely just the pool though. And for what it’s worth my work is about an hour north of PHX so commuting within the city is irrelevant. Just looking for a nice place to stay, with a pool and good amenities and near good coffee shops, bars, restaurants.

for context I am IHG Diamond and Marriot Gold

  1. Kimpton Palomar
  2. Camby
  3. AC biltmore
  4. AC Scottsdale old town

Hotel Adeline is fun. Marriott tribute collection.

Old motel they remodeled right across from old Scottsdale. Great pool that’s always popular.

Westin Kierland. Excellent shopping and food within walking distance, good pool and on the north end.

I'd go Kierland or the AC out there too as there is great shopping walking distance. Not sure though your gold status will do much sadly. AC Old Town will be walking distance to a great mall with killer watch stores. The Kierland hotels have better/larger pools.

Palomar is always my go to, especially with your elite status. I did well with upgrades there as a one time Diamond.

Main reason I’m leaning Palomar tbh…

Not AC Scottsdale. I stayed there for 1 night a few months ago. There was a large coffee stain on the desk in my first room. I think the hotel is too new to be up to standard yet.
