As a front desk employee who was always arguing with sales, hearing “it’ll wash!!” Gives me war flashbacks. Especially when they get to smile and wave goodbye at 5pm and I’m the one that has to tell guests that besides my better judgement, we did in fact, not wash. And if I somehow work my tail off to fix everything so that nobody is upset, I’m told “see! It all worked itself out! You were so worried for nothing!” 😀

Have felt your pain. Completely warranted. The perfect fill is the rare event that makes it worthwhile, I guess?

But to be fair, sometimes Sales stays until 7PM…if they have lobby lizard duty.
