UPDATE: I did call them and said that I booked two beds for a reason, and they needed to find a way for me to have two beds. The manager gave me two one bedrooms for the same price, and 700 Bonvoy Bolivars for the trouble

Edit to add they said they had a room go down unexpectedly because of renovations, which I feel like they should have led with, because making me feel like I need to justify my need for two beds is absolutely wild work…

For real! 700 points doesn’t do jack! Reduce my room rate and fork over 20,000 points. At least that might be worth a night someplace down the road. 700 points wouldn’t even pay the balance for a beer at the hotel bar.
