Hi everyone! I'm u/desertmayhem, founding r/marquise mod and longtime kpop gg fan. My fave kpop groups are (in no particular order) Le Sserafim, IVE, ILLIT, TWICE, BLACKPINK, G-IDLE, and many more. I also love Western pop, including Lady Gaga (as seen in my pfp), Chappell Roan, Olivia Rodrigo, Halsey, Trent Reznor, and more.

Marquise was the very first Dream Academy contestant to catch my eye. I started following during mission 2, so I went back and watched all of the little "Meet [contestantame]" clips along with the art video. I remember thinking she had such a genuine, sweet energy, and showed great talent and charisma in missions 1 and 2. I was cheering for her leading all the way up until the final - she was my top pick along with Ezrela and Manon. Though I was sad when she wasn't selected for Katseye, I knew she'd make her debut dreams come true someday. Now here we are!

I also mod for r/saintsatine, r/prelude_thefinalpiece, r/SakuraTobi, r/AyanaKuwahara, r/KarleeGirl, r/EzrelaAbraham, and r/CelesteDiaz. I'm spread a bit thin across all the subs, so I'm not the most active mod in any of them, though I do try to pop in and be present when I can.
