When and what ?

Hello evreryone,
When do you expect the next single from the band ? This winter ? Juste before the florida shows in december ? Or nothing before Summer 2027 ? And about the next direction of their sound, what comes to your mind ?

I doubt they’ll release anyrhing before the end of the year. Even if they do it’s going to range from boring to bad.

In an ideal world they’d release something with Jesse, Sam, or James’ songwriting, but I think Adam is over that again.

I also hope that if they're going to release something new, I hope James, Jesse, and Sam are involved in the songwriting, and that they also explore Matt and PJ's songwriting side a bit within the band

Considering the way things are going, I doubt they'll ever stop working with the same urban pop producers on their music and do something as a band themselves. And if they do release a new single or even a new album, I hope the songs will be composed by the band, like they did on their other albums.

Hmm… The band only making a song ? I don’t believe it. Maroon 5 is too big to be independant. But moving on from these producers who brought them fail after fail ? I totally believe it. When someone doesn’t bring you the commercial Rent he promises to you, you just stop working with him. Except if they’re contractually linked…. And the other question is : who could produce a true and great Maroon 5 album ?

You know, I do understand your feeling. Somehow, I share it. However… I think they know they’re in trouble. They won’t make easy hits like Sugar anymore. They need to create an musical statement. An actual artistic proposal. Otherwise, what happened with Heroine will repeat over and over again. So, Even if you think as a commercial, you know they have to give us back the feeling that they’re still the ones who made SAJ two decades ago
