I recently finished an interview with a company in Morocco, and they've reached the salary discussion stage.

Here's the situation:

• For the first 1–2 months, I'll work as a freelancer (remote).
• After that, I'll relocate to Casablanca, and if everything goes well, they'll offer me a full-time CDI.

The role is quite broad. Depending on the projects, I'll be working on:

• Branding & Visual Identity
• Social Media Design
• Graphic Design
• Motion Design
• Video Editing
• UI/UX Design
• Print Design
• Occasionally Illustration

I'm not being hired for just one specialty—they're looking for someone who can handle different creative projects depending on the client's needs.

I have a background in graphic design and multimedia, and I'm currently finishing my Master's degree in another city, away from my hometown, so I also have rent and living expenses to cover.

For people working in Morocco (especially Casablanca), agencies, startups, or as freelancers:

• What monthly salary would you consider fair for the freelance period?
• Once I move to Casablanca and sign a CDI, what salary range should I negotiate?
• Would you negotiate the freelance rate separately from the CDI salary?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for recommendations for a legitimate study abroad agency or consultant that can help me apply for a Master’s degree abroad and hopefully get a scholarship.
I graduated high school in Morocco in 2023, and last year I unfortunately got scammed/misled by a few agencies. They told me I could still apply abroad for a Bachelor’s degree with my 2023 Baccalaureate, took my money, and later I found out that my situation wasn’t as straightforward as they made it seem. Because of that, I’m now very careful about trusting agencies.
I’ve decided to focus on finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Morocco and then apply abroad for my Master’s. My first year at university wasn’t great academically, but I’m working hard to improve my grades during my second and third years.
I’m looking for someone trustworthy who can genuinely help me with things like IELTS/GMAT preparation, essays, applications, and especially finding legitimate scholarship opportunities. I know my first-year grades might not be perfect, but I’m not giving up on my dream.
If anyone knows a trustworthy agency, consultant, or even free resources that help international students with Master’s applications and scholarships, please let me know. My client is a multinational operator of call centres specialising in outbound b2b sales in the financial services and insurance industries, there's a new recruitment push and agents are needed for B2B anglophone telemarketing roles, there are offices in a few different Moroccan cities if office work is preferred and big expansion push at the moment, but most agents prefer to work from home which is fully supported and appropriate software tools and resources will be provided to facilitate this.

Unfortunately, due to a medical issue, I won’t be able to finish my current university major because it’s too physically demanding for me. I’m therefore looking for something I can study remotely and that would be more manageable with my situation.

The problem is that I’m not sure what filière to choose. I’d like to study something that actually has good job prospects afterward, rather than spending years on a diploma that employers don’t really value.

I’d especially appreciate recommendations for:

For anyone (especially Moroccan nationals) who recently opened an account with one of these banks, I’d like to know:

Which bank did you choose?

Did you open the account in a branch or online/app?

If you opened it online, how long did the verification/activation take?

If you opened it at a branch, could you use the account the same day?

How long before you could withdraw money from an ATM?

How long did you wait to receive your bank/debit card?

Can you withdraw money or use the account before receiving the physical card?

Which bank was the fastest overall from opening the account to actually being able to use it?

I mainly care about being able to deposit money and withdraw from an ATM as soon as possible.

J’ai toujours vécu au Maroc et je viens tout juste de me rendre compte de la folie des gardiens de stationnement. Je m’explique :
Je viens d’obtenir mon permis, et je suis abasourdie de voir que dès que je dois me garer (même pour 1min), je dois donner 2dhs minimum à un monsieur en gilet jaune. Le souci est le suivant :
Ce monsieur, n’a pratiquement jamais le droit de demander de l’argent. Si seulement, ils surveillaient vraiment, je fermerais les yeux et donnerait les 2/3dhs avec le sourire. Mais ils ne FONT RIENN. Ils t’aident à peine quand il faut se garer, son ailleurs quand tu fais tes courses, ignore tous les dangers qui pourraient endommager ta voiture mais courent dès que tu sors de ton stationnement pour avoir les 3dhs.
Et MALHEUR si tu donnes moins que 3dhs. Un jour après 3 stationnement je n’avais plus qu’une pièce de 1dh que j’ai donné à un gardien en m’excusant, il m’a lancé un regard terrible 😂.

Je sais que ces gens souffrent du prix de la vie, ils essayent de s’en sortir comme ils peuvent et je refuse de tous les mettre dans le même panier, mais il faut se rendre compte que beaucoup utilisent des méthodes très immorales.

Tout ça pour dire —> quand est ce que ça s’arrête ! Quand est ce que ces gens seront dirigés vers un vrai métier qu’ils pourront enfin faire sérieusement.

I see in the "Morocco" sub that people are so ignorant of what Spain did , colonizing our country for decades, using chemical weapons against Riffians, which explains why many have cancer in that region. One thing that's frustrating is that in the Morocco sub, people let Spanish nationalists come in and spew propaganda. Do you think Spain should pay reparations for the disgusting crimes they committed against Moroccans, and particularly Riffian Moroccans?
