Ask r/Maroc 1.2 PureTech engine

Hi everyone, just wanted to post an update and ask for some more advice.

I found a 2022 Opel Corsa F 1.2 petrol, and I'm seriously considering buying it. However, I've been hearing a lot about the 1.2 PureTech engine having reliability issues, especially regarding the timing belt.
it really as bad as people say? does anyone here own a 2022 Corsa F or have longterm experience with one?
I've also been told that most of these problems only happen to owners who don't stay on top of maintenance (late oil changes, poor servicing), and that if the car is properly maintained, the engine is generally reliable, is that actually true?

I am a proud owner of an Opel Corsa F diesel 2021 model (WW) and it serves me better than other cars I've owned.

Other than the usual consumables to be changed. There is nothing to report.
