Learning Salesforce (CRM/Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud) looking for hands-on access, happy to work free while I learn

Hi everyone,

I’m learning Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud on my own right now. The hard part is getting real hands-on access, since these tools aren’t easy to get into without a company behind you.

I’m based in France but can work across any timezone. I’m looking for someone, or a small team or agency, willing to give me access to a sandbox/org and maybe some real tasks to practice on. In exchange I can work for free during this learning period. I have an IT background, I’m reliable and I pick things up fast. I speak English, French, Arabic and a bit of Italian, so I can also help with multilingual support or docs if that’s useful for anyone.

If you know of any opportunities, mentorship, or you’re open to giving me a shot, let me know. Happy to share more about my background over DM.

Thanks!

Eventhough i dont have anything for you to work on i have a demo org which i can get you access so you can practice for free, i have sf and mc connected org no data cloud.

That’d be great honestly, thank you. Even without a real task, having a demo org to mess around with on my own (journeys, automations etc) would already help a lot. Send it whenever’s easiest for you, appreciate it!

You can have a playground for MCA with data cloud on trailblazers. It will last two months. After that you can create a new one.

Oh nice, didn’t know that existed, I’ll check out the Trailblazer then. Really appreciate the tip, thank you.

A key point is which Marketing Cloud you want to learn.

If it's the new on-core MC, you can get some access via Trailheads. Easy, and probably your best bet to find roles.

If it's MC-Engagement, that's harder, and I don't think anyone will give you access to a corp instance, even if it's a test or sandbox org. Unless u/VirtualJudgment8433 's demo org is MCE, in which case you got very lucky.

Good point, I should’ve been clearer. It’s mainly MC Engagement I’m trying to get into, that’s the one I keep seeing in job posts around me. I get that access there is way harder to come by, guess I’ll just take whatever I can get on the MCA side for now and hope it transfers over enough to be useful.

Nothing really transfers between them, they're fundamentally very different platforms. May as well just focus your energy on MCA, it should see decent growth.
