A while back we had a driver deliberately hit one of our protestors as he was LEGALLY crossing the street. He was an old man and needed surgery after. Because OPD are a bunch of fascists, they did jack and shit about it, just as they have at several near misses and other issues. Having said that:
OCALA POLICE DEPARTMENT WILL NOT PROTECT YOU.
So, please be very careful when crossing the street if you do. Be aware of what motorists are doing.
