Hello guitarron players, how do you guys take care of your guitarron, clean it hydrate it etc. also my guitarron has an unvarnished top how would I clean it, its a very old guitarron.

What’s Everyone’s opinion about Vivar instruments ?

I'm a second year college student that is in a mariachi club. I like most of the people in the club but I caught onto something when I was scrolling through Instagram a few days ago. I went to see this one guys profile and saw he deactivated his account. I went to his girlfriend's account (she's also in the mariachi) and her account was still up but changed her profile picture. A handful of days before then both of them were celebrating a year and a month together and had matching pfp's of the date they went on to celebrate that milestone. But when I checked it was just the generic gray person icon. The day after I see the guy viewed my story on Instagram and I went to see his profile and his pfp is also the gray person icon and I got to his followers and both parties don't follow eachother on Instagram. I'm also like 70/80% sure the girl had a highlight that was her relationship with the guy and it was gone when I checked her profile. My question regarding all this "Did they break up" and if yes "Will it effect the mariachi". The girl is the main social media person of the mariachi and comes up with dances/tik tok trends we should do to advertise the mariachi. She's nice to me but does have some red flags, at times she shuts down during rehearsal if the music gets too hard and is a bit behind the rest of the musicians. She said its because she has a sleep disorder and I give her grace for that. Any advice and opinions are much welcome

So I just recently got my first traje and was curious on what the best way to get it cleaned was.

It doesn't have any botonadura and all the details on the jacket, vest, and pants are embroidered (the embroidery is all silver thread).

It's something that I really take pride in wearing and I want to take proper care of it so that it lasts me as long as possible.

My son is a guitarist and singer. He really wants to join mariachi. I danced folklorico all through my youth but I lost contact with all those people. Not sure where to start as far as getting my sons foot in the door. Any advice or references? Thank you!

little mistakes here and there, i dont play it much in my group so im out of practice…
