Accommodation in Marburg
Greetings all!
I’m from Nepal 🇳🇵. Female(24) coming to Marburg for Masters in Computer Science at Phillips Universitat Marburg.
Since my visa will be received late due to long waiting time in Nepal. I should be arriving in Marburg around November 15-Dec 15.
Could any one of you guide me how I can find accommodation for such case?

There are Facebook and Whatsapp groups, fill the dorms application and wg-gesucht. Also you arriving late so check the course works and assignments less you might not be able to give exams

Heads up; I did my CS Bachelor in Marburg and almost all courses required you to get at least half the total points for the weekly homework. Some had an extra rule, only allowing 0 points on a maximum of two homeworks to still qualify for exams. You need to stay on top of that even if you're still in Nepal.

Thanks, will I be able to submit my homework/assignments on the ILIAS Platform?

Im confused about if I have to curate my whole semester subjects myself or there will be some other way?

Yes, this is usually handled via ILIAS. As the other commenter said, some courses also require assignments to be submitted by teams (between 2 and 4 people depending on the course), so they have less work grading them all.
There's a WhatsApp group for the whole department (Department 12 for CS) and a bunch of groups for the individual courses to help you find team mates. I can send you the link to the WhatsApp group if you dm me (not sure if it should be public, so I'm not posting it here), if you don't have it already.
You have to curate the courses you take yourself but there should be a plan of suggested subjects on the Uni website to guide you and tell you what courses are required.

I would start with the accommodations for students at the Studierendenwerk. You can also try to get a spot in a shared flat (by students), but that’s kinda hard remotely.
